    Don't usually post here on the forums too often or even create threads for that matter, but I figured I've seen some extraordinary generosity from this community before so why not put this out there.

    A few months ago @gretzler1981 was diagnosed with AML Leukemia (cancer) and has been in and out of the hospital ever since. His wife has created a gofundme page that I have linked below. He has 4 kids aged 7, 8, 11, & 15 and he is the bread-winner in their home so anything at all would probably go a long way.

    Don't really know what else to say so hopefully we can help this shitty bastard get better!

    Remember playing with Gretz, Cooker and the boys way back with my friend @Buddys mom. Whether it was Nhl, Cod, Poker, or some other random ass game on xbox it was always a pleasure. Wish him nothing but the best and prayers out to the man!

    Was a very valuable member of our s20 AHL Calder Cup team that @Yaaa Booiii and @TheCronkzyShow built...hopefully he can get back to playing the bigs soon. Thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family.

    Get well gretzler! Thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family. He had a huge impact on Norfolk's s20 Calder cup win. I was lucky to get him on my team the following season. He's a great teammate and a great dude. Real nice guy that deserves better. Get well soon dude.

    I remember back when you all ran my AHL team in Edmonton in the VHL days... You guys were all the OKC Barons. Fun group of dudes, and I wish the best for Gretz!

    Hey, guys.. Just wanted to bump this post. I got a text this morning from Gretzler's wife on WhatsApp off of his number saying that Gretz will be leaving us in the next couple of days. I also checked and there has been a few updates on his GoFundMe page saying that he is fighting for his life and they cannot afford cremation or anything for him since he was the one making the money, so if it is in your budget and you would like to donate money, feel free. Please keep him and his family in your prayers and perhaps the power of prayer can give him a miracle.
