The Unwritten Rules of Club

When it comes to 6v6 online hockey, there has been a set of rules over the course of time that has developed into the Gentleman’s agreement to club. I am gonna express the ones I know and maybe make a few jokes here and there. If I forgot any, feel free to comment below.


Rule#1: No Dunking

Not everyone has all the time in the world to just sit there and play chel all day. So with that in mind, if the goalie makes a save, it is considered courteous to back off and let the other goalie play the puck to keep the game moving. If you dunk you are just an asshole OR just really dislike the other team. If you believe “it’s just a game, if they give me the opportunity to score I’m gonna take it.” They are the same people who keep playing in this next rule.

Rule #2: If you lose a player, leave.

compy’s…Compies…CPUpies? Anyways, are the dumbest thing in club. I don’t understand that if someone leaves that it just automatically ends in favor for the other team, by I digress. When it comes to losing a player, you should leave the game due to you not having a full roster. Now, there is a little disagreement on if you have the lead in the 3rd and lose a player, that the other team should leave or continue playing with the computer. I’ll leave this up for discussion in the comment section but imo, you lose a player, you lose the game.

Rule #3: I don’t care about RP

You really do care about RP and play Staind-It’s been a while when you lose a game.

Rule#4: ggs after a double OT or more

It’s not warranted, but offering the other team a gg whether you win or lose during a long and strenuous game is a considerate thing to do. It’s just club but at the end of the day, a good game is well…a good game.

Rule#5: West coast shit host

If the server is west you just leave. I don’t care if your LD is west and plays on 80+ ping everyday and now has 23 ping in this server. It’s not your fault he decides to continue to live in a shitty area for chel, if he doesn’t like it move to the east coast for sweet hosts.

I personally didn't complain about getting dunked on. Felt bad for ducky but sometimes you just gotta troll.
