EASHL Player Badges – Introducing EA SPORTS™ Hockey League pro leveling. Play EASHL Seasons, Playoff games, or Drop-in games and earn Experience Points that unlocks badges for different stat categories and milestones. Earn enough EXP and you will level up your Pro. Once at Level 50, you will earn a Prestige badge and start at Level 1 again to begin the pursuit of your next badge. This is the ultimate display of your skills. Player levels will be prominently presented for other users to see in the Leaderboards, Dressing Room, and Side Select, so level up and brag to your friends. Safe to say everyone in LG will stay at Level 50?
It's like call of duty, I don't need an emblem to show my NHL prestige. I enjoyed working to my legend 3 and the challenge of getting it and now it's handed to people in pre set builds. It's a new direction NHL is going and we have to live with it. Good luck to all during the early access
90% of the community agrees that if nhl ever wants to be taken even remotely seriously as a competitive video game this is the direction they had to go. you're in the vast minority that has to "live with it" due to your inexplicable NEED to grind out 350 games yearly.
It's incredibly pointless whether you prestige or not, but there is no reason not to prestige as it has no impact on the game just the amount of times somebody calls you a no life.
Video I found that goes a bit more in depth for the Badges thing
I think it will be a decent way to see the skill level of your competition and teammates. I don't get to play as often as some others and this might be a way to tell those who get a lot of practice and force me to step up my game.
