Hey there eashl goalies out there i am starting to play goalie and i am curious to know which stance do you use I know ea has said that stance are only cosmetic but i think that depending on the stance tou use you play differently due ti how you view yourself so i would like to know which stance works best for you and why
I was playing with Stance 9 or something like that. Well when I had the two week spell of aids goals going in on me every game, I switched from Hybrid / Stance 9 to Standup / Stance 1. Aids goals still go in every now and then but not nearly as much as they were. Probably just bad luck and more mental than anything but that is what I am using now.
6 I do not have a real reason why. I dabbled around with the default stance and Jonathan Quick's stance (I do not remember which number that is) before settling on it. It just helps me with my positioning.
Use 18. Great reaction with glove and blocker. Tried a lot this one with stand up seems to be a great combo
8. And yes it is only cosmetical. It can however change the way you view your goalie in relation to the puck/puck carrier. Higher stances may make it seem like you only have to travel a bit across the crease while lower compared to wider stances that may feel like you don't have to travel much at all to get into position. It's all how you view it. As you get better, to where you don't have to continuously look at your goalie, instead you follow the puck and keep your G in your peripheral vision.
