Nascar 09 League Interest

I was wondering if any of you guys were planning on getting nascar 09 when it comes out in a week i believe. I was wondering if any of you guys would want to participate in a league. I am just gauging interest to see if anyone would be interested in it... Updated with list of guys interested

I might be willing..let me see how good 09 is first..After being a avid sim racing ( nr2003 and ASR ) the EA games leave alot to be desired.

 

Well obviously there isnt enough interest but if any of you guys are interested i have seen online leagues that have there own website, but it is nothing like leaguegaming with all the scores and everything.

 

I agree, with you sk that it does leave alot out of the game, but I am a huge nascar fan from when i was just a little boy but it doesnt seem like to many people are interested but I thought I would give it a try

Yeah, this would be a big part of it. I thought 08 was going to be good, but it sucked ass.

I might try to pick it up off of ebay for less than $60 if we were going to do a league.

 

What we could do if we have enough we could ask for the stat support but if not I could keep track of the information and post it somewhere. It doesnt looks like we have enough people at this moment to get one going, but if we did we could have 3-4 people per team and you get points like the realy nascar where your teammates are there for drafting help and setup help but who knows..

 

i'd be down for nascar league why not. game looks good.

 

I was thinking maybe 3 people to a team and then do points by team (combine all 3 drivers' points) and a Single driver points ladder. Then we could race the real NASCAR schedule and do a Race for the Cup with the Top 12 of the single points ladders. IF WE HAVE ENOUGH. And not having stat support from the site wont hurt. I could keep track of it on an Excel Spreadsheet and post an updated version weekly. The minimal support we would need from LG is our own forum.

Ya. I played the demo and I was impressed with the improvement from 08. So I was assuming they like it. And we could draw in some new blood if we threw this out onto the Nascar 09 forum at xbox.com. I'll do that in a little bit if you'd like.

 

Sounds good man... I liked the demo but I have to wait a few days to get it because I just bought tickets to see pearl jam but def. try and get a few guys in here buddy

Most likely the 360 because most leagues on here are for the 360
