Although the current set up for Season 1 is in a ladder format, eventually we would like the league to grow and gain attention so that we can expand it into something bigger and better. Keeping in touch with the roots of competitive and professional CoD4 on both PC and Console, we would love to eventually have a full league with a schedule and map rotation. This is not MLG. This is not UMG. This is LG and we will not go out of our way to copy other leagues as that isn't what will bring new players and teams to this league. Some of the rules and game set ups are inspired by the way we played on PC combined with the needs of console players. We are open to feedback and changing rules, game modes, and anything else as long as it remains competitive and unique. We will test the waters to gain momentum and attention by using the ladder format so that teams and players can play when they want. We hope that this attracts a large enough player base so that we can have numerous teams and divisions. If you ever played CEVO or CAL on the PC you'd recognize the ultimate goal: LG-Invite – an invite only division with the best teams on the PS4 LG-Main – a division that can be worked up to by winning LG-O or qualifying some other way. LG-Open – anyone can sign up a team and play. We will be actively seeking sponsors for prizes, whether it's companies or players just wanting to help us out. I will be putting up a prize for the first season to the winners. It's looking like it will be a $20 PSN gift card for each player on the roster, but of course if other people pitch in or other sponsors are found that prize will change. We are open and willing to make changes, so bare with us while we iron out the kinks in our first season.
