Whats the point of this Sub-Forum? EA can't make any MLB games because 2k has the rights. There wont be an MVP baseball game.
It was actually a good game, Lat. Much better gameplay then MLB 2k6. Just need to get over the whole college baseball thing.
Also remember that the MLB license for 2k isn't forever, I'm sure EA will be making an MLB game in the near future
To me, MVP is still the best baseball game ever made. The college game was good too, just didnt get allot of attention because it was college. Those are the only 2 reasons I didn't sell my XBOX when I got a 360.
I still play MVP 2005 on xbox live, love the game and you can get updated rosters from FKings or www.codejunkies.com
Oh yes, as long as the person who hosts the match allows custom rosters. This is how we ran our draft league over at www.xbgl.com The online rosters work but it has to be an unranked match.
nope , EA still has active severs out there! alot like NFL 2k5 still being active online , as long as they don't offer updated rosters with updated stats they are not in violation of exclusive deal
Considering the new MVP NCAA game is not coming to any next gen system (it may come to the Wii because of the controller), we are still stuck with MLB 2K on the 360. Id say everyone who wants to play a real game of ball go out and buy a PSP and wait for MLB 07, or get 06 now. Id say go with a PS2, but you are better off getting a PS3 since it will be BC. No PS3 version of The Show is announced yet, my guess is that it will come next year.
