S25-S26-S27 Timelines and Info

With us entering the first round of the S24 playoffs, no better time then now to send out a notice in regards to the new few seasons, and out plans. The season 24 playoffs will run us until about Sept 1st depending on if our final series go seven games, with NHL 17 slated to drop, September 13th, some careful planning has been done in order to get us setup for three season on that game. Below are some key dates and info I'd like to pass onto the community in regards to the new few seasons. I do not for see any changes, and if there is an update required, everyone will be notified accordingly.

More Info and News​

The goal for S25-26-27 is to create consistency we have not seen since S17-18. In order to do so, The League Staff and I are exploring some new way to promote talented and dedicated members of the League to step into Ownership and Management contracts, for a minimum of two seasons at a time. Next week, these ideas will be presented in full to the current management teams to get their feed back. This consistency I'd like to see through the NHL-AHL and CHL to ensure we can have familiar faces in these roles but also for us to see teams and managers look beyond a single season for team building and commitment. We feel this brings better stability to the League and offers our players the bets experience possible.

At the NHL level, we are still seeing some "ego" issues where players are causing headaches and issues for our managers. I am hoping these new ideas will promote more top tier EASHL 6s players to step in our NHL Management role to offset the issues caused by some of the players at the NHL level. At the AHL level, we are looking to continue the trend of solid people stepping into management. We are looking to add a test or new form of approval system to ensure those members(new or old) stepping into AHL rosters are up to the task. With the CHL, we are hoping to build off our successful first season of 60 Teams.

Depending on sign up numbers, rule changes and site support, I have the ECHL penciled in for next season. The changes would also allow us to run AHL and CHL bidding at the same time. Once I can confirm all the pieces required to ensure the ECHL is a possibility for LG are completed, I will be making a major announcement.

Our Development guys and I have come up with a solid plan for our NHL draft. Once NHL 17 is released, there will be a series of Top Prospect games held, and recorded. This will put the spotlight on our CHL players whom will be draft eligible entering into S25!
