A few guys contacted me on Skype the last few days and I was going to contact a bunch of you with a message. Then I found this post and was completely blown away! You folks are amazing! I told Vibez today that sometimes I wonder if there are more than the core folks who like what we have done on media. Today you proved that a good amount of people do care. I can’t thank you all enough for this response.

So to be clear, I quit S6 because my responsibilities at work have escalated to a point that I continue to do work at home and on weekends now to help meet a project that is going to hopefully end in February. When that happens, I will assess if I have the time to do anything for S7 once this project ends. There is nothing else happening right now. I was going to be GM for Bulging Twine and Everett in the CHL. Twine is a good friend and someone I really wish I could have worked with this season. He has been very understanding and supportive of my decision. I wish him nothing but the best for him in S6.

A bunch of you have reached out to me this week once you found out about my retirement. I can’t thank all of you enough for checking up on me. @LG McDonald also touched base with me today to make sure nothing bad was going on. Brodie has been very supportive of Media over the seasons and I hope to work with him more in the future.

I'm not sure what you kids mean when you post "F" in the thread but I'd like the think its for "Ferda", as in fer da boys!!

It’s not a goodbye guys. I will be back at some point. Until then, good luck to everyone in S6!!

Sibs was a true legend in the AHL. He pioneered the media division and brought a whole new element of fun to this league. He's an incredible guy and I'm sure he'll be missed around the league.

Will be missed by everyone,always made the regular season and Playoffs a great watch. Was such a great person and Radio personality to us in LG and there wont be another like him. Much Respect and Godspeed.

You know, about 7 minutes before you gave me the news you were retiring, I made the statement in the CHL SB, that "Everett is looking for a new GM" after hearing you are NOT an Eagles fan. I felt awful afterwards, lol.

All jokes aside, real life is first. This is just a hobby. Totally understand why you retired. Was looking forward to finally playing with you, and not against you for once. There will be more chances in the future.

Take care of business bud. We will see you after overtime.
