FYI Those 2 teams are probably not the best examples. Every team will have a week that is 10 games, but that week could be anywhere from week 1 to week 9 (both those example teams are week 9 like the current schedule)

    4th option.
Might as well try it. But game will most likely still suck.

I think its a great idea, but I think you should consider expanding the roster size. Alowing teams more available roster players rather than having to use an ECU. Make it so roster players can play 4 games but not garrenteed 4 games.

I see no point in expanding the roster. If you can't show up to a game then ECUs are used. All you'll have is an owner telling his 3rd line that they aren't playing one night and using his top line for a 4th game and all hell will break loose. Just stupid.

I wast talking about a whole line. I was referring to 20 instead of 17. So each team can have either 2 fwds and 1 dman. Or 2 dmen and 1 fwd. It makes sense considering how many ECU people use. If you have a roster guy who is an ECU for the NHL. And they don't get started on time. You can use a roster person instead of scrambling to find a ECU at 9:35.

If we see a 4th line it'll be in the CHL, not here in the NHL and AHL

Keep Thursday games. Don't take a gamenight away in the season where we also increase the # of games.

-Having 10-game schedule would fit perfectly with Thursday NOT being just a 1-game night, which is a reason it seems to have bad avail. Some players don't sign up for the 1-game night. Thurs having two games will increase Thurs avail

-More player's avail is negatively influence by having a 3-game night. That negative outweighs the supposed benefit from having a couple games mid-week rather than Thurs

-No one wants to MOC for 3 hours. You might need to track down the best ECU possible for a biggie at the last minute. Not all of our lines easily always get themselves together, let alone find good ECUs

-Just b/c PSN league doesn't mind it, doesn't mean it's the ideal. They are a young community who are just happy to exist

-This seems to be on the table b/c of some desire to make room for 3's tournaments on Thursdays. Which is lame. Pro Series/ESHL, FNP, LGHL PSN already detract from the availability and player depth/quality of LGHL (as AHL and CHL also do these days)

-Have your 3's stuff on Saturday. The type of members interested in 3's biggies are going to be home on Saturday nights

I'm impressed that all this has been figured out. A clear and concise plan has been made, and multiple example schedules have been provided. Seems like a logical proposal.

How does that affect playoff scheduling?
What does the PS4 league do for playoff games on each night?

I think the most important thing in deciding how to handle this is whats best for the members who have the biggest commitment to the league. To me its League Staff, Managers, and Goalies. A starting goalie as it is now has to be on 3 nights a week minimum. Managers and staff need to be on Sunday-Thursday.

If this makes it easier for them then do it. If you all of a sudden can't play LG because your 1 Thursday game is gone, then i'm not sure how you managed to commit before.

As a goalie I'd much rather cut down the number of nights I need to commit to LG than have more nights available to play on.

We should just play all 9 games on Monday.

Have games in the morning , afternoons and night time.

    God I'm a genius. You're welcome boys :)
