Kinect is coming out in 2 days, not sure if anyone is looking forward to it. Anyone getting it day 1, if so what games? I'm on the fence myself, it might be something i get one day but the launch titles look weak. Besides i dont really want to play games without a controller yet, there is a reason my Wii hasn't been hooked up in years lol
I was going to be a day one person. Then stories come out about technology being taken out to bring the price down and it left me feeling questionable about the whole thing. I will wait and get the general idea of how the thing works before I make a decision. That all being said, I do want the yoga game.
I'm wondering if it will even work to be honest. I have a front projector in my gaming room so not sure the camera will pick me up correctly. I'm a little interested in Harmonix's dance game though, i think my gf will dig it
i was thinking of it.. my xbox crapped out again... so i think the wife and kids may enjoy this new thing
as of right now the only games they have are basically identical to Wii, i do enjoy Wii fits' yoga but i doubt i would really have a need for more software, let alone hardware to do the same thing. i would concider it for a solid boxing/kickboxing game. clearly kinect is a better technology than Wii, alot of the wii games require you to simulate moves while holding the controlers, im pretty sure that the Wii senser only picks up the movements of the controller, which doesnt really do justice to the real movements. Example-Wii sports boxing , i can give it all i got and really do a sim of boxing to get medicore results or i can sit on the couch and barely move my wrists and absolutely destroy the opponent. i wonder if kinect is really capable of reading precision movement i doubt this is the future of gaming for hardcore guys, until it is as precise as a controller it will be for party games.
team league sign ups--don't forget---and if the girls in the fam want it--then w will get it---farva/broke=yoga...reeeallly
Sorry, I'm one of those crazy people that believes a workout plan doesn't show how big or little of a man you are. Just fyi, with the amount of professional atheletes partaking in yoga these days, chances are one of your favorite sports figures practices yoga.
it sounds pretty precise...when it comes to limbs and joints (i.e. Dance Central) from the reviews i read, bowling got harsh reviews because it is not precise enough to pick up the subtle wrist movements (i.e. spin) especially when compared to Wii or Move bowling.
They were also saying that the ball sticks to the hand sometimes. Apparently there are some extremely frustrating moments.
farva almost every NHL team has a yoga session...I just wouldn't go out and do it if I didn't have too thats all--plus whenever I can take a shot at you--well I have to take it...lol
I used to be one of those people but then I got into losing weight and working out 2 times a day. After a while you want some variety(As I'm sure you already know). Yoga gets a pretty good sweat going and it makes your whole body feel phenomenal. Feel free to keep taking those shots though. Whatever makes you happy.
Im gonna be by an EBGames (or gamestop or whatever its called now). If they have a Kinect and that dancing game, i will pick it up. If not, ah well! Maybe ill open Halo Reach from its wrapping lol
