Understand completely where your coming from Nuge. Write ups like these are what make it interesting on the forums but the fact that someone could do a write up and have literally no visible information or facts upon the matter. That's like telling someone to write a report with no actual facts making it almost impossible to respond with a well educated opinion. That's my point. Second I was mainly merely stating Trash as reference to a matter of maybe two or three sentences if that. Everything else was good he probably had more info on others due to most even mentioned in the write up have been around the community unlike some. Like there's plenty of over paid and under paid players all over the place I even think bidding was fucked this season seriously like anything over 9 is absurd in my opinion. I just hate to be singled out over something I can't control especially from someone who I've never played with or against this year maybe once last year but doubt it with me not being involved in the community to much due to me being in the lower leagues for my first two seasons.

Instead of making these long posts (according to you) being upset that you dont feel that his assessments of each team are accurate make your own Breakdown thread.

THIS IS NOT THE GOD DAMN POINT!!!!!!! He is good, but he is not 9M good. THAT IS THE POINT, and I KNOW others agree with me.

I have no personal vendetta against Nemzer, I actually think he is fairly underrated and was potentially worth up to 4-5M IF THAT!

But dont insult other Owners intelligence saying he is better than a lot of people that are talking shit. We as Owner and management know that but I have paid top dollar for a guy like Lefty and Lefty was worth that much. He is one of the best all-around players in the game and I paid 10M for Lefty. (I will never spend that much again FYI) Nemzer, no offense is not the caliber of player Lefty, Bass, Dub, FSU, LA, active, sry if I missed someone, but he is not there YET. But do as they do shut your mouth and play the game and prove the doubters wrong.

No disrespect to you nemzer, but owners have to make educated guesses/opinions on players wen doing these. You have played in my organization in MTL and I have played with you before, but most nhl guys haven't. I don't believe you have even played a full season in the NHL and you do not play club against the "top" teams (atleast I haven't seen you) so it is hard to say you are worth 9 mill when you are an unproven player at the highest level.

 

Whatever gogel im not insulting anyone by saying that nezmer was in the last 3 or 4 Lw available at the end of the bidding...
Im not saying hes worth 9m but he obviously prove some owners he could be a good asset to a team.

 

A players salary can be related to the overall cap left available to spend. Some of you guys are so narrow minded when looking at Nemzer's contract. I'll be the first to say he's not worth $9 Million(not yet anyways). With 1 open roster spot left open we targeted him. We had $9 million left to bid and felt he was the best option for us. If we had other positions left to fill we wouldn't have spent above our perceived value on him but we didn't so we went above his value because we could. Nemzer is a $9 million dollar player with Boston because we could spend it, period end of story.

 

at least he didn't quit before bidding this time... lol

 

i dn't knw nemzer n hes prolly talked shit bout me like everyone else, but i will say nemzer is good and prolly better then a lot of people think. I've played against him a few times and hes a "G". I dn't knw if n e one is wrth 10-12mil, it will always be hard to justify a contract like that. At the end of the day its always chemistry that wins. FSU makes mention of the S10 COL JFONz team. I was on that team. We made a run because we had 3 solid lines w/ chemistry. When I played w/ bouch it was the best I've ever played. Sometimes you play w/ players you have great chemistry with. N e 1 can be a stud when you got ur team behind you.
