Didnt think I'd need to explain that if someone quits out when its 8-1 its considered a loss for them and a win for you. Wouldnt happen with my team but I cant force anyone to finish a game they dont want to play.

And Nerd you stating that if a score is 8 to 1 and the team doesnt want to play gets a lose and the team that stayed gets a win. How does that anwser my question is RAGE quitting allowed in a money tourney? Atleast in a professionally run one they be kicked with no refund.

I think he answered your question by saying the team that quits, loses and the team that stays, won....pretty simple concept, but I guess most of us millennials need things spoon fed.

So, RAGE quitting is allowed and there will be no penalty for those teams that do, however it just looks bad on your team and is "frowned" upon by the NHL community.

You are overreacting. Rage quiting happens everywhere on any site. People rage quit on gamebattles, people rage quit on League of Legends (even in the "pro" leagues but instead of "quiting" they have an option to surrender.)

Just fucking play the game and enjoy the fact you make someone rage quit. It is going to happen. If you wanted to kick people over rage quiting go be a dictator and make your own league/tourney.
