    Just got my X1 yesterday. Used a Staples Gift Card for $225 and traded up to an X1 at Best Buy through trade-in promos and glitches. Winning.

    So, now that the acquisition is out of the way, I'm in this thing.

    Quick question, though. What 'mode' are we playing on? Ex: TW2014 had different settings for difficulty, green pace, hole location. Is it all just 'default' or 'simulation' or something?

    Either way I'm ready to hack it up and will be buying the game ASAP.

    Ya this game only has one mode. But on each course, the course creator can change some of the settings on their course like green speed, and of course place the hole where ever they like.

    Everyone will be playing on the same playing field with is great.

    This should be awesome, have they came out with a release date?

    And just wondering if you guys are looking to make this as close to simulation as possible? just in the video there it looks like there are some sort of power-ups and different things from the old traditional Tiger Woods lol.. Also with the actual courses it looks like they let you do anything and everything so stuff like putting a boat in the middle of a fairway or weird things like that would not be allowed, correct?

    or are you guys going for a more no holds barred, kinda of like the old playstation Hot Shots golf where you got all the power-ups and objects everywhere

    The Golf Club is a sim game, there are no power ups, or even player attributes. Everyone will be playing with the same player/setup.

    As for courses, we will obviously first test out each course before we add it to the tour, make sure its the type of course we want for our league.

    Oh alright sweet just in the video looked like a guy had a flaming golf ball (30-40 seconds of the E3 trailer video/thread), so didn't know if that was some power up or something lol

    Well nice to know it seems like one of the first games to actually have people on the same playing level and let the skill do the talking.

    Was there a release date yet for Xbox One?

    The Stream game today is $34.99, so i'd imagine that or $39.99 for xbone/ps4.

    And it is Digital Download Only. There will not be a hard copy of the game to pick up, at least not in the first few months.
