Created a course and still have some things to change, but let me know what you think. It is a bit difficult as far as the greens and make sure to hit your drives straight or there may be a bunker at the edge of the fairway.

Please leave feedback on the course and let me know what could be changed/or even what is good.

Thanks and good luck!

I also made a course. I somewhat rushed it but it's still a solid course. It's called The Course. I plan on actually putting time into the next one I make

Yeah I didn't spend a ton of time on mine either, but just wanted to test out the course creation. It would be nice to get some more courses that could be used for a tour.

I'm working on a course, but it will probably be a few weeks/month before it's ready. I'm literally designing everything from scratch!

How do you start from scratch? Do you need to delete all the holes that it provides with the random generation?

When you do the original setup, it will ask you how many holes, Select ZERO.

Is the course designer any good? I'm hearing no. I guess it's hard to be precise, compared to the PC version.

Oh duh, thanks man. Definitely will get started on a course.

Just out of curiosity, what type of courses are you guys making (theme)?

Maybe we can get some variation and provide some legit courses.

At first it is very frustrating, but after playing with it a couple hours last night I've found a few tricks that make it much easier.
The nice thing here is that HB Studios is going to continually develop and improve the product, so what you have now will be different from what you will have in 6 months.

It's a learning process, if you sit down and dedicate the time to it, there's a lot you can do. I'm already seeing that and I know that I have a lot more to learn!!!
ed reflex I'm using Rural right now, but you can always change it on the fly anyway.

Agree PHJ. My first two rounds were awful but I knew it was a new game mechanic from the TW days. Overall I like it. My last round I played (forgot the course) but ended up -4 through 18. Still need to work on my putting but definitely getting the feel for it.

Also, I LOVE not having to jam my stick forward as fast as possible. It is really nice just swinging slowly and still getting that 100%

Changing elevations and havingg certain objects being covered by grass when placed are my only complaints right now. I wish I could lower or raise land evenly at one time. If I chose to use a box to sculpt and I raise the land to 5 meters, I want all of the land in the box at 5 meters. Right now if you raise it and that land in the box has some hills, the land will still have those hills. I know I can make te box smaller and make the hills go away, but it'd just be faster if you could sculpt the land the other way. I hope someone understands what I just said hahah.

I played your course earlier today during the live stream. Was nice, the greens were a bit rough but I think mainly due to the fact of I'm bad at putting still. Also later on that live stream RickyBee2 was a ghost and destroyed me on the course I played. Only mentioned that because I see him viewing this thread.

Does any one else have a problem where they go to create a course and after selecting the difficulty and amount of holes, it says alert: an error occurred during the save, would you like to try again?

Any way to fix this?

Had this earlier go back to home, quit The Golf Club by using menu. Reload and it fixes it.

Yeah, I didn't fare too well on that course haha. Greens are brutal. Does the 'difficulty' setting effect the greens?

Use flatten instead of raise. If you raise 5 meters everything will be raised from where it is (Hills will stay intact) If you use flatten everything will go up 'x' meters from the center of the box
