With Week 2 starting next week, we need 2 courses to play. I will open this up to the community to nominate courses they like

Remember that we run the tour based on terrain type. We are starting the terrain on Rural & Autumn so please only nominate those courses

    The mic is yours gents

It does not matter to me. I'm open for anything since I'll go +80 for two rounds every week! :D

Tris10 How do you want the difficulty scale? I would have no issue custom making a couple courses for vote each week if you want to set some basic guidelines.

Just played it shot 82 with an 11 on number 12 I like the course in general but the drive on 12 with the wind in your face is next to impossible to clear the lake.. 270 in the air is a bit much,,and then it drops you right behind a rock like 6 inches behind..i had to hit backwards to clear the rock on the next shot over the water..Personally i vote no on this one at least for opening week..

I just published mine... Maple Valley at The Commons

Plays pretty well. I started from a layout just to have the right logic and it's a really well balanced course I think.

I had 7-8mph winds and they were always fighting the course to make it tough. The par 5s are petty long and theres a tiny 3 but it balances out.

I ended up E because i fell apart on the 18th.

I can't seem to find the Maple Valley at The Commons course... anyways since we are a little low on nominees here, I'll nominate Falls Creek C.C. It is like the Leaguegaming National course but doesn't have any real eagleable (is that a word?) holes. The only thing I don't like about it is you can use your driver no problem on every hole, but from what I could tell was that the greens were pretty hard so it put an onus on the approach shot.

I just played Falls Creek another good choice for the first week maybe the secondary event..as said approach shots are critical as i found very few flat places on the greens. Putts were challenging but not outragous as far as the breaks. Gets my vote...

Looked for Maple Valley at The Commons, couldnt find it.

I did play Falls Creek C.C. and I think this course would work great. I got a +6, but easily could have gotten a -6 with some different rolls and a little practice. This course will set people apart after a couple rounds. Not an very frustrating course, plus everyone would probably feel like they had a chance, while really the best at this game would shine.

Falls Creek was a nice course. I shot a +3 but mainly because I two and sometimes three putted greens. I thought the greens were strangely unpredictable with the speed, I couldn't quit figure them out.

    @Tris10 ... and everyone else :)

I've been stewing over the game scoreboard oversight where you can quit and re-enter and it's like nothing ever happened.

Well, I came to the conclusion that one of the only ways, right now, to ensure correct scores, is live play. I mean, that's what happens in the real tours.

Everyone is "thrown into a hat", shuffled up and randomly divided into groups of 4. Those 4 have a schedule, maybe like the LGHL... nights at a certain time, maybe at 7, 8, 9, 10, etc...

Two, three, maybe four times a week this assigned group gets together and plays a round, two maybe three a night. It is a lot, but when you section it off, not so much.

I know what you're thinking.... Yea right.. 4 guys have to all be on at the same time to play a round??... Hear me out...

LGHL does it, why can't we?! To really maximize this league, we should be efficient and honest. What better way, then to grab a couple buddies, some bruschi's, obviously the clubs and hit the fairways! :)

Although I like the schedule idea for a pre-specified 4-some, it does take some time to play Live turn-enabled multiplayer in the game. There is a ~10 second lag between every shot. If everyone has the time to spend, it could work really well. For me, I play when I can fit it in between other chores and time with the fam.

The schedule idea is also nice as it helps control for the wind. The wind will change during the day. As the tourneys stand now, if you start a round and don't like the wind, you can just pause your round and restart at a later time when the wind is better. Some folks may have the time to do this and others may not. Obviously, advantage goes to those who can stop and play later when it is calm. By pre-specifying a schedule, you are stuck with the wind you get. Just like IRL with the pros.
