There is a bug in the "Tours" mode of the Golf Club that could make it so you lose all your progress in a Tour. When you are in the "Tour" page in the game, you will notice 2 options, "A To Advance", and "X To Continue". If you are a fellow A button masher like me, you might get a message saying you will overwrite your progress, And in doing so you could be in the same tournament many times. 1. Rule of Thumb, if you ever see an menu option to restart, never do it. Also never hit "A" in the Tours menu, always hit "X to Continue". 2. The Other Major glitch is the Tour Restart. Never A-Button mash between holes. Always finish playing/leave the game at the start of the first shot on hole #1 of a new round. Meaning even if you aren't going to play another round, advance through the menu's until you see you guy standing on the tee block on the 1st hole. The developers also suggest to wait 10-30 seconds on the tee block before you quit, so the game sync's with the servers about where your "state of play" is.
I'd sticky this until they patch it, especially for once we start the regular season and if we have new members coming over. I'm pretty sure every xbox player is a "A-Basher" lol.
I went to play my 3rd round at Pine Marsh only to find out that it did no save my 2nd round. After I replayed the round and exited to the main menu I went back into the tour to see if it had saved. It took me straight to the 18th geen and my 6th shot which was about a 40 foot putt, I had a par on this hole only a minute earlier. Anyway I guess that I wil just go ahead and enter my scores for the 3rd round even though it has only saved two.
Pretty much happens to me every time try so i just count the round I play as whatever round im on for the site

The key is to not button mash a. If you press X to continue, you will never have that issue, I promise you.
Well, I dont bash any buttons and always since day 1 used X to continue, but still game doesnt save. And as I understand the issue will be fixed in the first patch(beeing sent to MS within 5-10 days according to HB forum)
I've tried it twice now and its worked 50% of the time . For the first course i did the trick after round 2 and it worked perfectly and then i tried it after my 2nd round on the 2nd course it took me back to my last put on the 4th round of the first course. So random but i will continue to use the trick cuz its better than losing my progress 100% of the time
For four days I have tried to catch up to where I really am... (round one of the Forum) I have played round three and four of Hitchens 7-8 times now... I have followed the advice of many posts in this Forum (no pun intended) only to be thrown back to the beginning of round three at Hitchens... I love this game, tour and tourney that yall have obviously put many hours into...but im at my wits end with these tour tourney glitches... Ima keep tryin tho... Hell I play better in real life anyway being a 4 index... Thank God I don't play real golf as bad as I do on the Golf Club ! LOL !..but as in real golf I WONT GIVE UP !!!
Why not just create them as seperate tournaments since the interface is so wonky? I've had the same issues.
Wow... this week tournament was a heck of a ride... at one point (after round 2 of the second course), I got so frustrated of the lag waiting when starting the tour... freezes, resetting my xbox, restarting at round I've already played and shit that I decided to restart the whole tournament and play all rounds back to back only for the last 2 rounds (scores was already registered on LG). After 7 back to back rounds, I guess I got tired of playing the game, lost composure and played a crapy +5 round... I wish I could play tomorow night, take a break tonight before playing that round and maybe get a top 10 score... Well, can't wait for the patch!
