LGHL Season 19 Official Owners List

If you can't get 30 owners I volunteer to run a team. I don't have the game but I would love to run a team kinda like a fantasy team, can I try this? Think it would be great. I'd just have 3 guys out there wearing the A and have no C

 

The point isnt that he is an idiot or a troll, that isnt the problem. The problem is that he is terribad at the buttons. Despite what everyone says, no one wants to play for an owner that shouldnt be in the NHL under his own merits. Most guys want to be competitive and having such a dead spot on your team isnt going to have a lot of players clamoring to play for him. He'll get inundated with trade requests which will make him unload his players for either players of lesser quality or even worse headaches which makes his team less competitive which just speeds up the cycle. Eventually they will either be like the Philly team from last year or he'll have to step down. It puts a strain on the whole organization and the league as well. That's not saying that some of the other selected owners are the best players either, but at least they are top AHL players. Being owner sucks balls. Its 17 weeks of misery that is only made worse when you dont have people who want to play for you.

Come back to me when all 30 owners are selected, then lets discuss who is in the NHL based on the crap selection. Shaun is a fringe player at best (honest opinion) but we will see tons of them make owner this season because staff doesn't have the choice between lack of sign ups and people like nuge leaving ownership.

I played almost all of last season in nhl with respectable numbers. So explain how two playoff teams as gm in vhl good season as staff n decent numbers in nhl last season is not enough????

my dude. literally started from the bottom. Actually, lower than the bottom lol. correct me if i'm wrong, but - from no management list, to my chl GM (smash fuggin clams), to ahl GM, to Owner (I believe that was the path). Talk about working your way up - told you being patient and moving your way up would be the way to go!

 

I'm not going to discuss Shaun's merits (or lack thereof) in terms of ownership, but can beggers really be choosers at this point? Whether Shaun runs the shit show team or somebody who is just coming from the CHL runs it (no disrespect intended), at least you know Shaun is going to stick it out and try his best. The piece on respect is irrelevant right now given the lack of desire to own a team in my opinion
