LGHL Season 19 Official Owners List

I'm just curious if I would've had any shot at ownership this season had I decided to buy NHL 15. Looks like the list is slim pickin......just curious

The 2 Major problems I see with winning incentives / paying 10 bucks per owner

- Second Tags

- And this would put the "I don't wanna play for that owner" THREW THE ROOF

But don't get me wrong I think its a great idea, that being said if we want to have any incentives for winning its up to the whole community to grow up and play hard for which ever team your on.

 

Not to mention, Owners are grimy when it is for a virtual trophy, can you imagine the amount of wheeling and dealing and scumbaggery that would occur during the season if money was on the line?

 

I think the point is being missed here. With incentives you will bring in quality owners with quality GMs and players. Owners who know what they are doing and actually want to see this league grow. So if anything the doucheness would decrease. Players WILL want to play for these owners. I will say this though, you will never ever rid the problems of second tags or shady play. We can only police them.

I know the thought of a "buy in" is scary but I don't think most of us think about the heights we could reach. We have ran close to the same system for years. Gaming has changed. More and more people are benefiting from the growing gaming community and we should too.

I can see buy ins being an issue back in 2009 but now a days everyone buys extra map packs, boost packs, hut cards and additional add ons for every game it seems. Maybe if players and managers don't want to participate in the incentives and only want to play, then let's let the CHL serve a higher purpose for these people.

If you want to play for money it shouldnt come down to whether your 3rd line of 2nd tags is better than the other guys 3rd line of 2nd tags (I wouldnt do it, but the people who end up in the cup finals? 100%). Pro Series makes sense, you choose your team so in theory there will be no shadiness to get players and there are no real 2nd tag issues (I dont want to jinx this, but I havent noticed an issue with it yet).

LG should be for FUN, which makes it even more concerning that people go out of their way to cheat. I dont want to give these assholes like Odie, Conner, and Crass any more incentive to be a douchecunt.

 

If you wanted to incentive owners through rewards it would make more sense to offer each owner something rather than have them compete for a prize. Because yes, even the owner that comes in last deserves something for his troubles (probably moreso because he'll have to deal with more bullshit than the rest). Obviously, you'd have to make it contingent on them finishing the season. It's something LG should seriously consider if it becomes a common problem because the quality and stability of owners can essentially make or break the league.

Can someone just permanently ban this fucking clown already? Troll every single fucking thread and then wonder why you're looked down upon by the league, staff, players, etc. People can't be this , can they? Is it really THAT difficult to not act like a complete idiot all the time? I just don't understand.

 

You beat me to it dafe just ban him no place for this in our community post threats to disrupt games etc. Life time ban imo no buy out etc.
