Well since bidding is done...here goes nothing.

1. :hphx: Arizona Coyotes - The man of many names, Dave, Chris, Soccer, Dad and sometimes even SJU, @SJUSoccer9 , along with sidekick Kody aka the @lan Morando have assembled the most dynamic team on paper. Scooping up bought then sold then bought again NHL player and fan favourite @Oven Mitts19 for a cool 10 million, these guys are built to take down any other team with a very strong 1-2 punch up front. Their top 6 projects to see a Kody, Raynor ( @Cat Sandwiches ), @I H4VE no NAM3 line along with a Soccer, Mitts, and LG legend @TeeLogan93 unit. Their third line looks to have a few value picks that could turn out for them. Where they may struggle is on the backend. In a weak bidding class they managed to lock up @Craig B x91 and @TH3 WID0WMAK3R as notable d men and an old King's favourite in the pipes with @l4l Clancy l7l . Survey says AnotherCupForMorando.

2. :hedm: Edmonton Oilers - Jay Ayotte, @Jay x 89 has made the most of his management experience, showing everyone why this is not his first rodeo. He has quickly and quietly assembled a team with depth up front and a surprisingly solid D corps led by @PriceTerry and @XxTerryTORxX . @oilers4life99 was once a highly regarded goalie and is looking to get back into top form. Contributions from Connor (@Th3 l AnD 0n1y) and @oFUZZYBOXo on the wings, as well as being able to locate at least one Owens with thumbs to play on the @EagleEyeFoley tag are going to be key factors in determining the success of the Oilers. @Flow Sauce Chew is an interesting pickup if he manages to make it out to most of his games and of course GM @cj142 has been a dominant force in the NHL community for years now. @MCDONALD l19l is on hand to make sure no funny business goes on with the Owens tag and what he lacks in on ice contributions, he could contribute some forfeit wins by technicallity to the team.

3. :t3: St. Louis Blues - Rounding out the top 3 after bidding are the St.Louis Blues. With an offense to rival the Coyotes, these guys are only slightly behind the other two due to their backend. Team owner @BRIERE l48l dumped almost all his cash into his offense and what an offense it is. GM @x lHl a y e s should slide in the middle along with the aforementioned Briere to form, get this, the second best line on their team. Powerhouse forwards @xo Playmaker ox and @xFIOx TENDY 29 will likely combine to make up the top unit. @Phi 1004 has been around the league before and should also not be overlooked. On defence, the team looks to @Bob Rooney to lead the charge, and will rely on @LeTHaL PROT3G3x to have more good games than bad. When he's on, he looks like a serviceable NHL d man, but when he struggles, look out. @StickNick555 rounds out what could be a surprisingly underrated D-corps. @Monopolized looks like a very solid steal for 500k as a backup and @Amazingzx35 is no pushover when asked to handle the starting duties.

4. :t21: Tampa Bay Lightning - There was much adoo when the lightning snuck Primmetimme aka @JAMESNEAL x18 onto their roster for a cool 1.25 on the third last day of bidding, but all signs so far point to a miscalculated gamble on @Sloshy Boxers part. @NugeTV has been around the block before and knows the ins and outs of internet hockey. Sloshy and Nuge will rely heavily on a top line of @The MainEvent and @Liver Damage17 . The rest of their forward group features some household LG names, with @Cronkzy97 , @LeafsSteen , and @IG HangOver looking to make an impact at the NHL level. @MBell91 and a slightly discounted @SpaceJam XVII , who will be gunning to complete the sweep of trophies with a Norris, round out the notables on the roster. In goal the Lightning are going to rely on New Jersey dissappointment @sD tHa MenTor , who has shown flashes of brilliance in the past and @Vicious Tyrant for a valuable $1M.

5. :t14: Washington Capitals - @King Denham might be the worst trashtalker in the league, but for all his bullshitting, he's got something to back it up. The team he and @Canada x 31 looks to make a strong push for the top spot in the East. @lx Bradley lx might be one of the purest shooters SJUSoccer has ever played with and @xxDups77xx will make the transition from D up to forward seem rather seamless. @Flash x 91 adds some character to their forward group, while @Ahern l21l on D might be one of the feistiest underrated Defenders in the bidding. @Gibsons 12 Year is a serviceable puck mover from the back end and @BarneyRebel ll was on the bid boards of a few notable teams. @TRiMBoLi TiME will be relied upon to take the heat of off Canada and looks to put up good numbers in what should be a limited work load.

6. :hott: Ottawa Senators - @Devin l94l might say he never actually signed up for the job, and he would be right. After being thrust into the ownership role when @AgentSooksta009 had a meltdown and couldn't handle the heat of ownership, Devin and @MattTheCoolCat , always cool under pressure, were quick to jump at the opportunity to build their own squad. And build a squad they did. @Cooker1091 , @b red18 and @xXS7EW4R7Xx all have a history of putting pucks in the net at some level of LG and @death studio can sneak a backdoor pass under the nose of defenders almost as well as he can sneak a second tag under the nose of Brody. Infamous LG member and Bidding legend @RoasTT has been named the best LW in the game by numerous GMs and at $5.5M went for only a fraction of his true value. @l Karldashian l , not to be confused with iKarly has played some good D in his past and leads a relatively unknown D corps. The team will rely on @B00Mshesaid and @Bieksa x 3 to be contributors, while taking a bit of a gamble on @JAFrink . @Suck It D0nny is also a surprisingly proven netminder to hold down the fort.

7. :t9: Dallas Stars - @LikeaHardPuzzle made the roster puzzle look easy as he and @Dalilaama assembled a very deep, while not overly talented roster. What they lack in starpower they surely make up for in team depth. @lL lE lF lT lY is the only real stud they can claim on their roster, but @x1x WILKESY x3x , Super Big Dick Rick ( @sbdr91 ), @lxl MVP lxl and @oX MoTiiiOnZ oX are well versed in 6's play. @All in the Hip hopes to put it all in the net as he will also be relied upon to help carry the offense. On the back side, puzzle added steady d man @Fbal Mike 77 and former league bigwig @lChr1s Topherl to help @macgyver1979 his way to victory. The myseterious @GunnMatikk will spell off the proven Dali when he needs a rest in nets.

8. :t4: Philadelphia Flyers - @BLicK12 is gonna have to hope for a good bounce every time the puck goes to @xRICKOSHAY . The guy is known for scoring on his own net and was suspect at best choice for GM. All kidding aside, Ricko can be one of the best offensive Dmen in the game if given the right supporting cast. That supporting cast will be made up of a group of drugs and chess pieces. On D along with rickoshay, @Powdah P and @Acid Thrasher make up a concoction of interesting defenders while a pair of kings, @King Marcotte13 and @King Scavuzzo90 and a pawn, @Silky Johnson will try and put picks in the net. @ball saddle and @dayman531 have chemistry, but they came at a hefty price tag. @D1NGO 13 and @AOlax22 probably have half a thumb between them so they should form an OK second pairing. Their goalies are relatively unknown, but @DWinger82 and @Taylor x l77l are looking to make names for themselves at the NHL level.

9. :hbuf: Buffalo Sabres - @Kopitar xX and @brandovedo might be one of the nicest ownership groups in the league, but don't take them to be easy. The pair are joined by a formidable pairing straight outta...Brampton, @RJYorke and @HabsAreReligion . He'd better pray really hard to the hockey gods if this group hopes to crack a tough eastern conference playoff spot. @SoapySam12 really needs to clean up his act and the great magician Harry @Maldini ll 3 ll will be relied upon to put some magic in his stick and pot some goals. @o TheRedViper o needs to take off the blindfold he's been known to wear while playing if this team wants to have a legit shot at the cup. On defense, @darkangel3521 will leave the comforts of Dad, SJUSoccer's house and make his way for greener pastures. He will hopefully use what he's learned to benefit Buffalo. @TKOxHelocentric is a familiar face keeping Dark company in Buffalo and the two might rekindle some Minnesota comraderie. @Lost and Hungry better hurry up and find his way or he'll be watching other teams score a @quick l32l one downstairs on @Glory 5 Hole as @Jack Bauer tuna hopes to look like more than just a fish out of water back there.

10. :hsj: San Jose Sharks - @SweeT 9 LoU 84 isn't sure what number he prefers, so he picked two. He did have an easier decision forwards wise as he managed to decide on @x Haxby without his partner in crime Chislett. Instead, Haxby will be joined by @xH3XTx , @DontEvenMaatta and @kingbrad3 to help him spark the sharks offense. Their back end features a true canadian (@ImATrueCanadian ) a good child, @Nate Goodchild and a ragtag group who hope to @xxTeachxx the rest of the league a lesson. @tH4tWutSh3S4id2 hopes to be focusing on hockey more than women, and @HowsMyKidUrWife will use his contract towards child support payments for your wife. The motley crew of defenders will be backed by an underrated group of goalies, GM @DOLPHWEEEEEEEEN and @JDoolus are both capable starters in this market.

11. :hpitt: Pittsburgh Penguins - Possibly one of the most hated teams in the league, the controversial penguins of last season again look to be quite controversial. @Panda l25l has assembled a cast of misfits who just might be able to come together and create some magic on ice this season. @Freddy Couples has had success before in the league, albeit as a defensemen. @Reggie Hauser has been a mainstay of OTP lobbies since NHL 09. @Luffy Qc has never quite gotten the credit he deserves, and @RandomMeat is well...random. @shoco123 and @SouPerSaiyan will be savvy pickups for their dollar if they manage to attend their fair share of games, while everyone's favourite, Frank @x What 3 16 x can hopefully put up as many points as he does gamertag changes. @Adams x 21 and @go to the whip can be solid defenders in the right system and @Bcripps xl45lx has had a plethora of 6's experience with some decent success.

12. :hwin: Winnipeg Jets - The most expensive team on D will rely heavily on StamTrodieeee. Vezina winner and GM @StamToast is perhaps one of the top goalies in the league, and the team is definitely built to keep the puck out of the net rather than score a lot of goals. Former stars owner and rumored softie @x 0dieeee leads the charge on D, but what a D it is. @Trobby Trobs , once a decorated forward takes his 3 thumb talents to the top pairing with the aforementioned Odie. @Enter Greeceman , once traded straight up for team owner @StickyMarmalade , will take his 4M dollar paycheque to the teams 2nd pairing with fairly new up and comer in the 6's community @El Gandhii . Up front the team has a few question marks as they rely on team owner and defensive centre, Boz (Marmalade) to pair up with Bubba Gump clubmate @I Anty Jemima I , who hopes to be one of the steals of the bidding at 4M dollars. Behind them, @TheTightSpliff was once a part of a formidable Albany AHL team and AHL legend and allstar @NukeBomb81 will anchor the teams second line. Expect to see Benny ( @bennyfact ) and the Jets in a lot of 1 goal games this season.

13. :hnj: New Jersey Devils - A storied franchise for the past few LG seasons, the Devils have seen a changing of the guard as defending cup champs, @Kop11tar , @The OneFour and @Malcs XIII take over the ownership group. They may have new tags, but they are still the same old talented players that got it done in Florida. Joining them will be vastly underrated winger and former res dog @Canucks x 95 as well as @kpy86 making a return trip to New Jersey this season. @xFiore91x looks to be a strong presence in the faceoff circle and he'll be backed by a mountain of a man in @Mt Willard . @Spooer69 , @ButtaBorborygmi , @Eeporz , @puest and @chunks x27 make up an interesting group of gamertags on D. While @BillyGilley will see his fair share of games in net behind Kopi.

14. :hnyr: New York Rangers - @l Smitty l x21 had a rough go of it the first time around he took ownership. This time he came much more prepared. He has teamed up with 6s mainstay @B0SS of B0SSES who is best known as the guy who gets incredible amounts of dome while still managing to sauce passes and slap asses, guiding many a team to victory. He is joined by defender turned forward @JHannah7 and 6s mainstays @drew13btv and @a1xFREAKx13 . Another interesting D crew makes its home here as @VaPoRiZ is joined by @BLISDON , @sauce47 and quite possibly the best gamertag in the league, @The Ploop . @Matarazzo15 sounds like some kind of cheese, lets just hope he isn't swiss. If Smitty faulters in net the team will turn to @Giroux x 28 .

15. :t5: Montreal Canadiens - @Williams x12x and @Maverik19 have turned their 35M dollars into an interesting grouping. Quite possibly the 2nd best LWer in the game after Roast, @Bass l19l was the highest paid player coming out of bidding, clocking in at a cool $10 250 000. He'll be joined by @Crass lXx8xXl and a whole cast of fellow frenchies. @liqara22 has been around these leagues before and @ii GL0BAL ii has seen his share of LG games. @x GLAC1ER x will be tested as he no longer has the incredible stars team to play behind that he has had in seasons past. This squad hopes to be winning many games as they ask girls the famous question... Voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir?

16. :t77: Nashville Predators - The Winnebago has long since blown its tires off. But the occupants have finally landed. The Gary Garoo crew, lead by @Gary Garoo himself are looking to do damage in the NHL's central division this season. Topping the payroll is Garoopie @Suter x 20 who will be in front of long time Winnebago driver @peasantpedro . @xHamiltonx27 slots in on defense, bringing some CHL experience to the fold and will fit in nicely to round out a defence highlighted by a Suter - @W lE 6 lE lR reunion pairing in Nashville. @Coffey x9 has got his work cut out for him with a hefty pricetag, but he is more than capable as top 6 forward. Teza Hazard (@lRyan l6l ) and @Nilla l 26 l round out an underrated group of forwards.

14 when we were playing club together you had 2 pucks go in off of you in one night span of about 4 games.

 

We'll take the over.

PS, you're a -19 career as a D man in the NHL, went 0-3 in the AHL with a -4, and 3-4 in the CHL with a -3. I'd focus on learning how to play defense before worrying about how many wins my team gets.

 

I agree with nicky. Get good rick. But seriously Vancouver reminds me of the south park episode of the detroit red wings wrecking the pee wee hockey kids. And nicky your team is the pee wee hockey team.

Also, any line with me on it is 2nd line at best. Looking forward to Fio carrying me in big games.

Well if you go by statistical possibilities, you can assume vancouver will be using 3 third lines a week, which means roughly 1/3 of the time they'll have an even matchup against the other team's third line where they should be expected to win 50% of those games. That's 1.5 wins per week so over a 9 week season that's 13 wins. I'll take the over.
