Passing Stats

Can we include passing stats for the league? I saw that we are doing shooting and tackling...so why not do passing?

 

For the love of Christ, please no...I don't want to have to record every god damn stat on the game after every match. :/

 

Its easy to add stats but I am worried about the amount of time to get all these stats, you will have to use the record feature in order to make sure you get them all.

With that being said, we might remove stats, the preseason will be a test run

Ive been wondering how we were expected to take stats with the timer only being 30 seconds, so I guess will be taking vids of them all

The reason we want as many stats as possible because it would allow the power rankings to be done more accurately. Like LGHL, Tris builds an algorithm and its really nice to have these for each week. However, with the time restraints, I don't know what each team will be able to do.

 

taking stats has been and always will be part of mgmt. It's disappointing that owners thought their job would be limited to only picking there team and showing up. Especially considering the power of tris' tools. It honestly takes less than 40 min to enter stats if you win both games and the pictures don't recognize at all. it will make the league look much better for growth having the power ranking stats In place from the get go

 

There's no OCR, so read up before speaking again.

 

It won't be as easy as in NHL because of multiple issues. With that said, I am in favour of having as many stats as possible.

Ocr is in hockey. I never said it was in soccer. I said it takes 45 min without it when you win both games. Sorry I'll make sure to be super literal in my next posts for people like you

We can add or take away stats if need be through voting and see what you guys want in the off season, our main goal is just to make sure we have a successful 1st season and the stats that are needed can be recorded properly as is and everything runs as smooth as possible.. if all goes well we can talk about adding more to the league absolutely, we just figured as simple as possible to start and get everyone familiarized with all the Management/Owner tools, Scheduling etc. We do have a lot of new Owner's and I want to make sure everyone is comfortable with everything.

That being said, I tried to see if I could record with my controller yet but can not. (October update is supposed to let you "Xbox Record That" with your controller)

So until that is corrected, I found this for people who do not have a kinect or do not want to yell at their Xbox at 10:30 at night.

This video shows you how to record up to the last 5 minutes of gameplay with your controller, so even if you miss the 30-45 second game timer if you quickly (within 4 mins just to be safe you get it all) go this route above in the video you can get up to the last 5 minutes, then you may edit your clip if need be then post it for stats.

Just a reminder, he does not tell you at the end to be sure you go into your recent clips and save it before powering down your system. Just a pre-caution as some people have said they lost their clip after powering down and forgetting to save it. Another thing is just to be sure who ever is taking the stats flips through all the appropriate area's (Game Stats, Team Stats, etc.) to ensure everything is captured.

Some of you may know how to do this but figure I would share with everyone just in case. Hopefully this works like I think it does!

We all have phones with cameras..........take a video after the game and ur set

 

Exactly or get someone to stream the game and look at every players stats/game stats after the game. Go watch the video pause at each player. I'm sure other leagues do, if they don't Its just lazy if you don't want to do it considering we have the programs
