Hi guys, Absolutely love the league structure and everything this website does. I have been following it for years now, without actually signing up. The reason for this is, I am based in the UK and the schedule on most of the leagues would mean that the games would be played at 3am and 4am GMT, which is a bit crazy even for an insomniac. Are there any other European players on here? Do you know of any leagues (preferably NHL16 for PS4) based in Europe, or on GMT? Thanks, Jonny
I'm here in England as well. I would love to get in on the NHL league but I get too much lag when trying to play. I unfortunately do not know of any leagues based in Europe but than again I have not really searched for any.
The lag might not just be because you are in England, This game suffers serious captain lag right now
Yea, that would make sense. I play a lot of Battlefront and Battlefield online and get zero lag. Unfortunate because I really would love to get in on some NHL action.
With the size we are getting here, we could probably start recuiting european players and start the ELGHL!
That would be neat! I'm leaving Europe in March though and going back to Korea for a year. After that I'm moving back to Italy for 4 years (or longer if I marry my gf). Feel free to hit me up anytime, I would love to be your "man on the ground" if you want to start dabbling across the pond!
That would be amazing! I'd like a Europesn league. I've never experienced lag however. I hear it's less of an issue on PS4 than on XBox.
We would def launch a league for Europe but we'd need like 200-500 people first. It would be really awesome if we could use European teams which i believe you can in NHL 16?
We do occasionally have Euro players who play here, may have some sprinkled in @AshtonArmy was one who managed to play on our times and actually recorded and streamed games if I'm correct, so I dont think connection was an issue. We also had somebody approach us about 4 or 5 seasons ago wanting to start a Euro league here and mentioned other leagues, so I know there are a couple out there. To start a league it would take people experienced enough to run and organize things along with access to a decent size "community" to be able to recruit to the minimum numbers worth sustaining.
Yes i am in UK based in north. No i had no connection issues on LG. and staying up late to 4AM was a blast but life issues got in way. LG was escape rout for me. I met so many great people in LG guys like @DAmanNblack @BURLMAN @truecl3ver ECT we had such great laugh in xbox part but now i have moved over to Iracing. I had such great time in LG. I may return at some point. If your looking for UK league go over to http://nhlgamer.com/ a brand new site just open. Join that unto LG has its own LG EU league. You can find me on twitter at @RealAshtonArmy Best regards AshtonArmy
The LAG was fine for me. It all deepens what broadband they use and if they can stay up to 4AM every morning! Best regards AshtonArmy
Yea true. I have fiber at my place (although I don't get the speeds I pay for, I hate BT!). I still have trouble playing EASHL games though, very choppy and laggy. I will have to direct connect and try it again once I get back from vacation.
Yeah I use BT on weekends and it the worse internet there is.You cant even watch live streams with that BT Hub it lag all the time. Only good thing BT has going at moment is BT Sports. If you thinking playing in LG here are times zone in GMT. CHL 8.30.- 9.30 EST = 1.30 AM GMT - 2.30 AM GMT AHL 9.30 - 10.30 EST = 2.30 AM GMT - 3.30 AM GMT NHL 9.30 - 10.30- 11.30 EST = 2.30 AM GMT - 3.30 AM GMT - 4.30 GMT I do play in few AHL and NHL Games back in the good old days and playing 3 night in row staying up to 5AM every morning was a blast but down side made very tried next day. If you plan on playing LG my advice would be dont play every night try work schedule around your free time. I am based around Preston UK! Best regards AshtonArmy
Oh I know, I'm actually American. I have played in many LG leagues since 2003. But since I have been living in Asia and Europe I have had to pretty much retire. I thought getting BT's fiber would allow me to play but it still lags quite a bit.
