How To Take Stats - With Twitter & OCR

    Hello, we have a new system where people can upload the 6 needed photos to twitter, and then LG has an OCR system that will download the images, read the stats from the images and do stats for you.


    Steps - From inside your Playstation 4
    1. Make sure you have connected your ps4 account to any twitter account. (more info will be added on this)
    2. Goto the 6 needed images (examples below), and click the share button and share to twitter. Make sure you add this hashtag: #LGHLTeamName. Replace teamname with your teamname. example #LGHLLeafs for the Maple Leafs, #LGHLBlackhawks ect. For the AHL use "LGAHL" and CHL use "LGCHL". The hashtag is important is its what we will search for.

    Steps - From on LG
    • Goto the LGHL PSN Forum
    • Click My LG > Input Score > Select Game
    • Follow the instructions in this video



    This new system means you do not have to use phone photos, and this should get stat results very close to perfect. We require everyone to keep their player name updated, and there is a risk of the OCR matching up "False positives" on names that might be common (like anyone using Smith or Roberts). I recommend to all the players to make their player name something very uncommon and longer then 5 characters (for best results)

    Adding Twitter to your PS4

    Step 1 - go to www.twitter.com and create an LG related twitter account e.g.: LG_Canucks or LGHLCanucks, make the password something you are okay sharing with members of your team.


    Step 2 - Go onto playstation dashboard, go to settings and click “playstation network/account management” and then click on "Link with Other Services" and then click "Twitter", Enter the Twitter username and password and follow the validation Process.

    Alot of people seem to be having the issue on them not uploading to twitter. I have the solution that worked for me. Completely Wipe you upload Que under notifications. sadly you can only delete 1 at a time however you will be able to upload them to twitter once that is complete. Let staff know if any further issues arise

    Great question

    For player and period stats yes, but not for the team stats page. I look specifically for the english words "Goals", "Shots" , "Time on Ice" ect. So we'll need someone to take the screens with English menu's

    So once we have our account connected to the teams Twitter we just screenshot after games and then what?

    If anyone gets an error on there PS4.....cannot upload to twitter............go to notifications-uploads and delete your history......Sadly this must be done 1 by 1. then this error will not occur any more

    I had that error come up last week. Ended up waiting until the next morning to finish uploading.

    What's the protocol when the opposing goalie lags Out in the first 3 mins of 1st period? We had scored it was 1-0. Opposing Goalie then lags out, we waited for a whistle took the pictures and restarted game. 2nd game played through fine. Now my question is is that 1st game of 3 mins partition 1of 1 and then I need to make a new one partition 1 of 3 for the 2nd game?
