Only EA would bring back a feature that was removed in previous years and call it "new".

Like we already had tie ups in front of the net, it sucked majorly. Besides that it only looks like they added new cellys and goalie animations. As if the auto goalie animations weren't bad enough for human goalies. Since 09 people have been asking for better control of their goalie, and each year they just give you less control.

 

Get rid of auto dekes fix board pick ups....

I just want to stop getting penalties for lift sticking correctly only to have their stick break.

Would like to see a player without the puck be able to push a button and face the nearest opponents skater instead of just holding left trigger

Why we have game changers, I will never understand? There is zero change in what a top 6s team or player would want. I would love to see dump ins changed, defensive pokes to have a skill stick for direction, stop seeing guys being hit but then watch them trip as they lay on the ice and then be the first to get the puck. Stick lift randomly cause a broken stick from ea luck.watch guys on clear breakaway slowed down by random luck of ea. Eashl monthly tournament to decide a top 8 or 16 to compete for year end trophy. Better hits better puck pickup boards that dont cause turnovers and wraparound s that work 5x after 100 tries. Be better nhl not mediocre and please listen to game changers or dont have them. Leaguegaming should be the new eashl. Took the community 3 years to make what you should have made since 12

 

Stick breaks disabled as I understand the point for realism but in the end this is a competitive *video game* and having a good play destroyed by RNG is just stupid.

Same for stick breaks on stick lifts.

Disable auto-fights after big hits. A player is taken off for 5 minutes just because they made a good hit and the other team wants to fight. Let them take a penalty for starting the fight at least if nothing else (instigator).

Limit these weird animations that cause your player to go on auto-pilot.

Ability to turn off auto-dekes or whatever they call it.

Less/no calls for tripping when diving if a shot is blocked in the process and then after the opponent skates towards you, falling.

Prioritize the netcode with every change. Don't wait until even the alpha/beta before realizing issues like captain lag or other crap. A game can be perfect in gameplay but completely destroyed with poor multiplayer performance.

Honestly, if they fix all the small problems it could be a pretty good game.

I just flat out don't trust EA. If its that much of an improvement on 16, I'll be pleasantly surprised.

 

NHL will never be meant to play competitively. The games will pretty much be decided on who gets the better animations. This is the game we play

It's too bad they didn't make these cosmetic/trivial changes 6 years ago and spent the last 6 years fixing the gameplay.

 

First off @Lazy Pedestrian how did u know I was going to use stance 40? My thoughts are who gives a fuck about customizing the arena we play in and progressing it. Make ur player maybe customize the jerseys and let everyone's thumbs do the work. EA and Rammer. You continue to ruin a great series.
