LGGT Season 5 - OFFICIALLY starts Monday, July 25th

After an unfortunately lengthy delay (mostly due to a busy work life and wedding/trip planning in September), we are READY to begin our new season.

Changes:

1- We will offer three tiers of play this year, adding Bronze, which will be for people new to LT, and preferably people who are at a lower skill. Battlefield Promotions in Bronze will be awarded after 3 total wins on Tour, including secondary events. We will still have the Gold and Silver Tours, and Weekly Events will still be one 4-round Primary Event, and one 2-round Secondary Event.

2- Leaderboards should be able to separate the individuals by Tour. This will make it easier for you to see where you stand regarding the LT Playoffs.

3- We'll stay on the 16 Week schedule. There will be a brief pause (1 or 2 weeks) in the middle of the season.

when are signups going live?

 

There's no official signups still at this time, although I'm working with @Tris10 on this, if he can implement my idea I shared with him to improve our Leaderboards.

Is this league on Rory McIlroy PGA Tour? If so how do i register for it?

 

Who? Kidding aside this for The Golf Club game. There are over 100K courses so a few more to choose from than Rory. That and the gameplay is better.

 

As Tim said, it's using The Golf Club, which is on all platforms (PS4/XB1/PC). You register by playing the appropriate Tour in the game.

 

I am in and looking forward to playing in this, I just got the game and new to the site.

 

I am debating on whether or not to play in this. How would we get the stats on here?

 

Stats are automatically inputted after you play your round in the appropriate tour.

As mentioned above, the stats are automatically pulled every 10 minutes, with thanks to HB Studios for giving us a full API to work with. This way, we can also limit cheating by straight shooters and those who constantly stop their rounds to play "offline" via ghost balls.

 

Not sure how this happened, but I was in the middle of the first round on symphony manor, quit out to come back later and hit continue tour and it puts me back on the first tee of oakmont which I have already posted scores for all rounds. How does this happen? It has always just put me back where I left off, can I get back to where I was without playing through all of it again?

 

the game is buggy as hell and no fix looks likely as they abandoned this better luck with tgc2
on another note is there no tournament this week?

 

Is this League still available to play on XB1? Cant find any Season 5 LT anywhere under tour

 

It was available a few weeks ago on Xbox One; I'm assuming that they took a week break after majors.

 

More that I got married, went on my familymoon with wife & kids, and forgot to tell you guys. I'm a fool. We start again next week.
