Hello fellow LGFAers. I have been fortunate enough to get ownership of the Tottenham HotSpurs for this inaugural season of LGFA! We are currently looking for any players that want to come out to the pitch and show us what you're about. I will be around pretty much all day grinding those levels so feel free to join the LGFA Tottenham club and get in some games with us. If we reach a point where we have enough interest and not enough spots for everybody we will post sign up games so everybody gets a fair amount of time to try out. Ultimately we are looking for players that can mesh well together and have a good time while also hopefully being one of the more competitive franchises! Alright boys time to preview the season for the Tottenham Hotspuds. The Spurs intro song, skip to 51 seconds. The Spurs come into the season with the highest expectations of any team without a doubt boasting huge playmaking abilities, clinical finishing, unmatched tactics from their on the field coaches, chemistry that has never been seen before on the pitch and of course their biggest strength that they establish dominance anywhere and everywhere they go. The only thing that could ruin this team is themselves, they play aggressive and can easily see 2-3 red cards in a match there is also the issue of ego's on this squad there has been reported locker room fights pre game and at half time. This team is lead on the front line by the legendary Big Money Del aka Delano aka Delanaski aka Delano who started his career as a young CAM playing along side pro club legend V Chris Hansen now known as uWannaBeMeSoBad, has matured a lot since his younger days he holds back on the flashy plays and scores at will. If you don't want him on the scoreboard you simply cannot give him a shot on goal and if you think you can defend him 1 on 1 well let me know how that goes when you are down a goal. I cannot imagine a world where Delco Delano doesn't lead the league in goals. Next we look at another dominate player Slomey aka T Slome or as the fans know and love him by Slurms Mckenzie. A fan favorite for good reason Slurms supplies the energy the team needs and always seems to be the player coming up with big plays time and time again. You will hear the fans chant party on slurms party on continuously throughout the year, if you find yourself making a run at the star players on Tottenham just know that Slurms is coming for you and you are likely to be sitting on the sideline when all is said and done. Slurms always puts the team first and the ultras love him for it makes unselfish plays and just when you give him an inch to operate there's one in the back of the net. An incredible combination of Bergkamp and Thierry Henry Now we look to another young gun in the attack you guys know him as the GOAT probably considering his famous line "I'm the GOAT" We know him as Troak aka Troak money aka T-sauce aka The Herhey Troaks aka You got teams aka has no concept of time and when you tell him you are walking to his house and you'll be there in 5 minutes he says he will be ready and isn't ready for 30 minutes Troak is quickly building a reputation as one of the best prospects in Fifa history, the kid came out of nowhere and now is a name known around the world. Capable of scoring goals with the best of them or creating a goal for a teammate out of nowhere he oozes talent, but the mental aspect of his game holds him back sometimes. If you try to defend him user vs user you will need some new ankles without question and don't be surprised when he bloots one from 35 out. Now it brings us to the player Ray Hudson described as "a hybrid of Zidane, Del Piero, Maradona and Ronaldinho" this player brings an ego like no other and while he is hard to love, he is even harder to hate due to the magic he produces. "IM A JUNKIE" aka uWannaBeMeSoBad aka P30s on Deck is a man who needs no words because you all know who he is, but for those who were born in a third world country under a rock let me help you out. Known as a mercenary considering he has played for more teams than Ibrahamovic the only constant thing about him is he produces titles and trophies. He controls the midfield like no other player in the history of soccer he is considered the Gretzky of FIFA, he plays balls that others never knew existed. You cannot take the ball from him, but if you give him space to operate he will cut your team apart all night and if you back off him he's just going to start taking on defenders and will finish with ease. His presence is always known on the pitch having played for multiple top 100 clubs and being a top 50 ANY in multiple years in FIFA, retiring in his prime to move on to the PES life he was convinced to come out of retirement to help a friend initially refusing the offer his ego couldn't let him just sit on the side. If you have any hope of stopping the Spurs this year you must stop him in the midfield he's the #10 for a reason, the only thing saving teams is that he likely can only play half the games or so. He could lead the league in goals and assists if he wanted to, but stats don't matter to this lad only that win at the end of the day. Now we can mention some of those newer to the FIFA scene or those I just don't know as well. KMcDonald_24 aka Andrew MacDonald seems to be settling in nicely at the back and will score more goals than your strikers off his in air corner dominance. He is learning at an incredible rate and easily can become the top CB in the league within a few short weeks. realdemonX aka I haven't played with this guy, but apparently he's some combination of Gianluigi Buffon and Dino Zoff. This guy should have no problem racking up clean sheets. Rantallion34 aka OOTP Baseball 15 legend Rant used the skills learned by playing OOTP and pulled the strings to make the magical transfer window come true for Spurs fans acquiring all three of Slurms Mckenzie, Delano and uWannaBeMeSoBad for pennies on the dollar. HJHF14 aka Have Joke Have Fun seems like a very solid player who knows his role and will contribute to this teams success on the pitch by helping control the midfield, solid on the ball and doesn't turn it over. JClaus33 aka Santa Clause he may be the favorite as of right now to take the ANY and CAM spot from IM A JUNKIE when he is not playing. Although we all know it is impossible to fill those shoes Santa Clause will be giving gifts all years to his team with immaculate passing. zeffster hard to write anything about this guy considering I haven't had much time to play with him and cannot figure out a nickname yet. Seems like he could be a solid LB/RB who can join the attack when needed. M-A-Skotlas20 keeps the game simple, but may be the best crosser in the league. Look for the Spurs to be agressive wheeling and dealing making some transfers where they see the need. This team is under immense pressure, but that's when they thrive.
