I am sitting down for a discussion with @LG McDonald, LGHL PSN and Xbox Commissioner.
The show starts at 10pm eastern on September 11th.

We will be talking about everything Season 5, what is planned for Season 6 and also the upcoming release of NHL 18.

Out of curiosity, ask if they are incorporating a Las Vegas team into the NHL.

 

They announced this already. They also made a post awhile back asking how the community would prefer the schedule when they added Vegas.

They are also bringing up a chl team to the ahl for Vegas. I can't remember which one but that's the word on the street

I am 99% sure they are bringing Utah from the ECHL for vegas AHL team

 

Last season we expanded the draft to 4 rounds, do you feel it had a positive impact and will we likily see an additional round or 2 this season?

IHL was a cluster F×<# this season, are the plans to continue this league, and if so what are some of the plans to improve it.

Vegas is a fresh start and as such has no players returning to the roster. How are you going to even the odds for the new Vegas team management. As you know the real team was allowed to draft players from current rosters. Can we anticipate something similar for LG Vegas?

 

We seem to be bleeding out A status players as of late. That may be specifically because of the summer season as most people don't want to stay inside cooped up while the sun is actually out for most of the players. Do you think there will be a large number of returning A players to offset the slight shortage we had this past season. And if there isn't would implementing a 1-2 player limit on Prospect players on a main roster? Could make for a spicy topic Tsibs

Any news on a potential swap of FNP to a 3 on 3 set up? Or are we going to get one night dedicated to that specifically on a day like Thursday or Saturday? Mostly those nights are now looking to be utilized for those that participate in ESHL but for those that would like to play this new game with a lot less at stake could be good for the site/game/league.

 

Right now 3 on 3 doesn't have challenge DRs

FNP probably will have on and off weeks, so week 1 is 3v3, week 2 is 6v6, week 3 is 3v3 ETC. Depending if club challenge is able to use goalies that are not CPU. Now changing the days is complicated and will depend on people stepping up to help run FNP as it is hard enough running it with just me and @xJayyTee .

 

A last second change to the schedule was making the AHL's 31st the Colorado Eagles. Reason being is that the Eagles organization being confirmed as the Vegas affiliate for the 18-19 season. To my understanding the Chicago Wolves will remain as the Blues affiliate here on LG. Colorado will be placed in the Central division for upcoming seasons of LG.

Other changes coming to the AHL this season are...

Albany Devils --> Binghamton Devils
Binghamton Senators --> Belleville Senators
St. Johns Ice Caps --> Laval Rocket

The Charlotte Checkers have (finally!) been moved to the eastern conference.

Just check Xbox. They have done it already. Rampage are blues AHL. Wolves are Vegas AHL.

Lots of chatter about the Owner selection on LGHLPSN. Lots of NHL guys complaining that some of the selections are guys who are not even that good in AHL. We will try to discuss this and the selection process with Brodie on Monday night.
