Media S28 AHL All-Star Game

Hello AHL!

The Season 28 AHL All-Star Game(s) will be taking place on the Thursday at the end of Week 7 (We are aware this is after Trade Deadline).

For those who do not have a calendar, that date is Thursday, November 30th, 2017.

Game times will be 9pm, 9:45pm and 10:30pm to allow streaming and time in between games.​

Here is the Run Down on how it works:

1. Da Young Buck will be PM'ing every AHL GM this week to provide a list of 6 players (1 per position) with a maximum of 1 manager as nominations to the All-Star Game. (This is Due by Monday, November 27th, 2017 at 5pm EST)

2. Once every GM has done so (or the deadline is up), the LG Overdrive Team will choose All-Star Captains (These captains are going to be the GM of the 1st Place Team of every division at the time).

3. Da Young Buck will PM each All-Star Captain the list of players to choose from so that the Captain may select his All-Star Team.

4. The All-Star Captain will decide whether they wish to play in the All-Star Game themselves.

5. The All-Star Captain will choose his All-Star Team. The RESTRICTION is the Captain may choose up to 2 players from 1 team, with a maximum of 2 managers per divisional team (The All-Star Captain counts as a Manager and a player from his team).

6. The All-Star Captain will send their All-Star Roster of 6 players to Da Young Buck with 3 spares (1 Forward, 1 Defencemen and 1 goalie from separate teams than the original 6 players).

7. Games will be played at 9pm EST (Pacific vs Central), 9:45pm (Atlantic vs North) and 10:30pm (Championship).

8. Their will be 2 AWARDS handed out this season. The 1st Award will be handed out to every player who was NOMINATED to the All-Star Game by their Team GM. (31 teams x 6 players = 186 players). The 2nd Award will be handed out to every player who PARTICIPATED in the All-Star Game. All-Star Captains automatically receive both.

If they’re winning games and putting up the points, that’s an All-Star player to that team.

 

2 Dmen on the Roster, but still has to be a guy who plays LD and a guy who plays RD. We don't need a FtB x Grizz problem.
