PSN CanAm vIII

i feel like the real main goal of doing this on ps4 is an attempt at getting people to switch back to it because it is clear that xbox is starting to take over and people from the ps4 side don’t like it.

Its more that in my efforts to organize this so far, the only people who have come to me/offered to help me or run teams have been ps4 dominant guys. We arent trying to force people back to ps4 because we arent making them play ps4 lg like in the past, if we were you could definitely say that.

 

Xbox is for children.

this is the first time i’ve seen anything about canam. I, along with many others, would most likely be willing to help run it on xbox.

This requires you to be awake during the game times. Don't think either of us are qualified.

 

I'm not going to discuss the competition difference between xbox and ps4, but what I will say is that once again, someone from PS4 stepped up to run it. Xbox lacks initiative, wants things done for them, but won't do it themselves (i'm generalizing obviously).

Point being, if you want something done, do it your self or don't complain. A ton of great players and teams on xbox, but if nothing got mentioned about can am no one would step up and do it.

I'm honestly curious to know how CanAm keeps the ps4 community growing.

When I think of CanAm, I think of the same old established players picking the same old established roster (some of which don't play LG anymore or play on the other console) and the vast majority of the community doesn't care.

What am I missing?

 

USA did a tryout tournament last year, this type of event will likely be REQUIRED for both teams this year. guys good or not who arent pessimistic angry_pedestrians will want to play and sign up for that and practice and try. whether they make the team or not they get excited for it. and the timing leads right into LG. and there are always a few lesser known guys who arent quite big yet who make the team and it helps them.
most competitive events (world finals, Olympics etc etc) dont have a million people representing their respective teams but a ton of people strive to make the team. I realize this doesnt quite compare but sue me for being optimistic and trying to let this have a similar effect of people playing striving to make the team.

Why such a dick? I was asking an engaging question.

I've signed up for CanAm tryouts going back to the days DaNextOne ran CanAm lol I never expect to make it, I just A) like playing competitive 6s and B) find it funny to see them try people out and then see the final roster with a player that doesn't play LG or is from the other console.

It would be interesting to see if it could be made more inclusive like you said with that tournament. Maybe have a CanAm CHL for all the prospects who are actually new to LG which could be introduce them to the existing LG community. It would basically be like a draft showcase of sorts.



Why would I be angry? If you're assuming that off of the ESHL PSN discussion, I definitely have no reason to be angry at all. It pretty much went exactly the way I said it would.

 

What about Team Quebec?

 

Ive never even tried out for canam but id be interested to trying out for USA
