Banned for being Evacuated from the CALI fires

Someone make sense of this please. I missed my games this week cause i live in CALI and was evacuated from my home Tuesday night because of the Wildfires burning up 150,000 acres. I was scheduled for Tuesday and was on time ready to play. After a LONG DELAY (like always for LG) game started only to have a guy lag out so we had to restart and boom power went out. No more than 25 mins later i got a aggressive KNOCK on my door telling me to leave my home immediately as the fires were racing towards my house. I let my management know, and they were both supportive of what was going on even though it left them in a bad place and we had to forfeit a game (which is bullshit). I then talk to managment and since i already had a MAJOR family issuses early this season, I cant go onto waivers again. All I'm asking is for some cooperation from the league in this time of need. I am currently in a hotel and will be later home today to see of my house and all my belongimgs are even there.

Long story short I got banned for saving my family and myself which is kinda fucked up if you ask me. My management from Nashville have done a AMAZING job handling my situation and i thank you both for being so supportive. I plan on appealing this "ban" and plan on coming back next season with a vengeance. Thank you for your support I'm sure things will work out but right now it's 1 day at a time.

Seeing this in person must have been amazing! I can't imagine knowing you're losing everything, hopefully you and your family are safe.

 

When flames are literally against the freeway and it appears the gates of hell are opening its pretty scary. In person really makes you respect the force of mother nature

 

3.4.3 : Requesting to be Placed On the Injury Reserve (IR)
Any IR request MUST be sent to the Team's management, via PM or message on their PSN, or any other forum of written communication.

If the team decides to place the player on IR, the request can be made via the Action Center, OR via PM as long as the proof of the player's request is provided to staff.

Managers are ALSO responsible for inform staff when the player is required to be taken off IR. Players are also not eligible to be taken off IR during the playing week, only before games begin on Sunday and after games end on Thursday.

Players can only request to be placed on IR for a MAXIMUM of two weeks per season. The week do not need to be consecutive.

Update:

I got home about 30 mins ago and I am happy to say I am one of the lucky few who had their homes saved by these amazing firefighters!!! They bunked up in our neighborhood high school and faught the fires for 3 consecutive days! To save 45+ homes and lost just 5 houses up the hill. We dont have power or internet but I'm just happy to have my home. And my family is safe as well.

I appreciate all of you and your thoughts but if you don't mind please send another out there for those still being affected by these fires. They are still raging and will be for the next 4 days or more! Only 10% containment as of right now.

I enjoy this league and the community is pretty cool too once you just take the trolling for what it is. But I've always had a good time with most the players in this league and I look forward to getting back on the rink with you all soon.

As for my appeal, ill send that in when I have internet and power come back completely. Hopefully the league understands as I assume everyone has a family they want to protect.

You can only be banned if your management files for removal. Bans are issued based on rules, exceptions don't live at this level. Appeals are where special circumstances are made. Brodie handles all of those. Put yours in, I can't imagine you not being welcomed back with open arms. I was hit by Cali fires up north so I know what you're going through. Thoughts are with you my man. Stay safe.
