Bidding - Should the team who did a "snipe" bid be revealed in the chatpost

Wouldn't that be removing the anonymity of the bidding process?

Maybe if a "snipe list" was posted after the bidding process ended it would make more sense.

We go from people wanting completely private bidding sessions to possibly making all snipes visible? Lol. Great idea if you want to see people cry and beg to be bid on again if they get sniped by someone they don't want to play for...

When the bidding is over. Nobody should know why who they are bidding against.

 

I think public snipes in the last hour will make teams not snipe which is good for the league because it would speed up the bidding process.

 

Bidding is money management and it might make sense at times to wait to see if anyone else is going to do it so you can extend a different players timer.

 

wait til after bidding, it ruins the bidding process imo if someone gets sniped by a team, everyone will just bid them up higher if that owner is either disliked or people just want to fuck them

 

In some situations it may be necessary to snipe.

Say Dallas' A bid fell through and they don't have the cap. Are you saying they shouldn't snipe bid B at a cheaper price simply because others will be upset?

 

Maybe just make it available to each individual player so that only they can see this information.

Then if they want to share, perhaps try to get themselves a bid, they can do so.

... Not sure how much more difficult this would be to implement into the website though.

It would at least be interesting to see what teams bid on which players at the end of the day though. I think we all agree there.
