It'd probably be best to wait and see what Tris has to say. If it has any type of LG backing/incorporation it might help it a bit. But I'm down for doing it even if it has no association with LG. I just don't want to step on anybody toes.
i mean tris was the first to vote yes on this poll, and like my initial post. We used to play in 2k leagues back in the day, so i'm sure he would be excited to play in it if we got enough interest to get it going, with site support or not. not sure how much we'll need. but the iportant thing is finding a good group and building enough interest to sustain it.
did this idea die out I was thinking of starting my own mlb the show wordpress league... but if we could get a following here i'd be down especially with 18 coming out in march
the dream is alive, we just need to recruit. game comes out in a month still so it should ramp up as it gets closer.
Well thats a let down.... No Online Franchise mode this year. Id like to get some sorta Diamond Dynasty league going if possible though.
Yeah it's DD league or nothing, sad. Tris how hard is it to make a new baseball game? Start it non license open source.crowd build it, Xbox needs baseball, Sony blows.
Could still do a 1vs1 league with real teams and defualt online rosters, like in the old days. But it'd require more work by Tris or a admin of the league to make a schedule and keep track of standings as it'd all have to be done manually. Unfortunately there would be no player movement, call ups or anything like that. You'd be stuck with using real to life rosters. Or can always use MLB 17 and a updated roster, unless they make MLB 17 unplayable online once 18 is released. Not sure how they handle that.
