LG Versus

With the big announcements of the NHL Versus tournaments. A lot of people have been interested in Versus. That being said, If LG ran a Versus league/tournament(s), Would you join? How would you like it played?

Numerous tournaments

• FNP/SNP Style, Single elimination or BO3

Game battle style (Much like the past LGHUT league)

• Play as many games
• You choose when to play

Coming from a good versus player myself, I think this is a great idea and will be great practice for the tournament.

Just don't add rewards. Would be a disaster as was LGHUT where sore losers actually threatened bogs that they would hack the site and... then the site was breached, death threats sent out. Lmao. So pathetic people take this way too serious.

 

If Versus is the format that EA continues with then there's a need for it here. Over the past couple month there's been two World Gaming Tournaments ($4,000 and $1,000 for top prizes), and the GWC announced.

I'd love to see a buy in league on here similar to the first Pro Series. Set times aren't needed for Versus, post a game anonymously and someone can join. Have a 2-4 week ladder and top 16 go in to a playoff.

Fees would have to be lower IMO as you actually have competition in this, unlike 6's. Gamersaloon charges 12-14%, Players Lounge is similar.

When you have to hope for the good AI... Rely on animations to pick the puck up for you, and game mechanics to work in your favor , it makes it a real crapshoot. I agree with no prizes as this game is more luck than skill sometimes, especially when you add AI into the he mix.

I would never put money down on this game, I'd rather throw it down at a roulette table , same difference to me.

I think its a great idea. Keeps adding to modes for this game within LG. Sure versus has its cons with gameplay etc but they all do. I think it would still be be enjoyable and easier to be organized for game times!
