Nah it’s not that bad. Yes he’s played some bad teams this season, but go look at who the top scorers have played against. Everyone has a go at the bad teams. Important stat is 18-5-1 career AHL playoff record. Can’t run from good/top lines in playoffs. He gets it done when it matters ;)

Played against these guys both this season and last season in CHL. And with them in drop ins. There both very dynamic players that can score goals a variety of ways. You cant stop them using a normal approach having 2 d-men drop back to far. and a strong forcheck. And good positioning will not stop them. If they have the puck they will score goals its that simple. Best defense against this is a good offensive possession game. Its my experience players with this ability love having the puck on there stick. When they are having to play defense or against a good puck possession team is where they will make mistakes and penalties trying to get the puck back.

Need a strong 2 way center. And 2 smart d-men That can match the thought process. Not to stop them but to keep the puck away from them. No different then a lot of good players they will make you pay for your mistakes and turnovers. You can keep most forwards to the outside with good team D. But if they are unpredictable they will pull you out of position.

And yes scrub teams force it throw it away and don't have the puck that often and will lead to high output scoring. Once they have momentum on there side. They will pile the scoring on you in the 3rd. When they loose its close when they win its by large margin. IMO this goes for any high output line. Puck possession. quick and accurate passing will give you the best chance. And strong trap and back check.
