LGHL S30 Bidding Report - A look at the highest bids from the Season 30 bidding list.. @T1 Clamps - RD for $9.25 million to the Washington Capitals Previous Seasons: S 29: NHL Reg 1-3-1 4PTS 1G 3A -7 S 28: NHL Playoff 4-2-1 4PTS 0G 4A 0 S 28: NHL Reg 25-1-2 35PTS 3G 32A +43 Clamps didn't have to wait long to get to a high price, with his first bid coming only one minute into bidding at a whopping 6 million, followed by several bids to 9 million in the course of an hour. Things settled down and Washington made the final step late into the night to acquire what should be an elite defenseman to lead the Capital's D-core. After a phenomenal Season 28 Clamps quit as a manager from the eventual Metro champions in the New York Rangers, citing a lack of interest in the game and team he was on. That could be the only issue for Washington, if he's unhappy there's a risk of retirement. @Dannyy Briere - RD for $8.75 million to the Boston Bruins Previous Seasons: S 29: NHL Reg 14-10-2 57PTS 23G 34A +9 S 28: NHL Reg 14-8-3 79PTS 32G 47A +22 Danny Briere has been one of the best D men in the ESHL invite division and has shined during the invite division playoffs in which the Ice Breakers are looking to win tonight. Even though his LG seasons have been at forward he is known as an elite defender as well with his thumb skills transitioning well to his defensive playstyle. Boston can mold their d core around him and expect him to be a reliable source for scoring and takeaways, but he won't be able to do it on his own. In the past teams have placed other top players alongside him and it has been successful, they should be looking to do the same. @McLxvinn - C for $8.00 million to the Washington Capitals Previous Seasons: S 29: NHL Playoff 3-1-1 7PTS 2G 5A +4 S 29: NHL Reg 15-10-2 62PTS 27G 35A +13 S 7 (PSN): NHL Reg 19-8-1 78PTS 45G 33A +29 McLxvinn's first Xbox NHL season was a crazy ride. From Colorado to Tampa to the Rangers, he got his fill of both the good and the bad. His PSN season went a bit smoother and he was productive in both leagues. There's also a chemistry connection with T1 Clamps on the ESHL squad Prophecy. He will be well worth the 8 million if given the necessary playoff caliber talent to work with. @mR Hit DaT - C for $8.00 million to the Saint Louis Blues Previous Seasons: S 25: NHL Reg 6-10-1 34PTS 11G 23A +3 People who don't know the person and look at his stats would say this is an overpaid player, but considering his ESHL statistics and connection with Blues star d man in Odiee you can see the reason why there was three teams going at it for him. He will fit in well with a great winger in Tendy and Odie both on the right side. They do seem a bit thin on the left side, and teams may exploit that by focusing their defense on the those two, but leaving Hit Dat as an option will lead to a lot of chances for him and with his talent and veteran skill he should perform for Saint Louis.
