Owner Grades || Realignment Proposal - Owner Grades & Division Realignment. Disclaimer These grades are mostly depending on the last 3 seasons, or NHL 18 I guess you could say. I know I have no right to grade someones skill or ownership skill, but these are my opinions. Grades are rated off of regular season success/playoff success. Just because you are rated as "E" does NOT mean you are a bad owner, but you are literally a first timer. THESE DO NOT INCLUDE GENERAL MANAGERS. Grade Scaling I'll fix this grade scaling for future media pieces by the way. Not saying any owner is bad, but just going by grades that I have put out. These are just multiple suggestions. It's also a little hard to do this without all GM's, but just going off my knowledge that I know now. Buffalo ---> Vancouver/Arizona/Calgary Buffalo & Detroit ---> Winnipeg & Minnesota (might make Central stacked) Ottawa ---> Vancouver/Arizona Ottawa & Tampa ---> Arizona & Calgary Florida ---> St Louis Florida ---> LA Kings Columbus ---> Winnipeg/Chicago Carolina ---> Winnipeg/Chicago These are just some I came up with at first, but I imagine there are more if I started looking at it more in depth. I imagine these won't happen, but it's always fun to move stuff around. Let me know what you think about other possible realignment possibilities! Inb4 bogs day “Skill level of a mgmt duo doesn’t correspond to mgmt skill.” And honestly that’s one of the dumber things I’ve heard. If you have a lot of skill you most likely have knowledge of the player base. You can’t deny that the Atlantic is a absolute bloodbath. This reminds me of when everyone was complaining that the central was too hard and had way to many good teams. It took Chicago and STL to have entire new mgmt duos who were significantly worse then they were to kind of balance that out. The year we complained and were told we were stupid was the year that 4 central teams hit over 100 points and Nashville missed it with 101 points. I think the bogs should take a look at this but they most likely won’t do anything. If it’s about too much work swapping entire rosters, I’m not buying it because Xbox has jersey swaps in the same division for draft picks.
Western conference also has the best contracts. If you consider the GMs in the west it’s pretty even. Chyz, Primetime, giroux, Jf5, akon, Tarasenko just to name a few.
Then on east the gms are Ddw, jclaus, mclxvinn, Kingclutch, Gladulov and possibly braydenn.... just to name a few which over powered the group you mentioned
The GOAT jclaus is in the east, like one player doesn’t compare. Everyone sees its a little uneven, Like chill lol
I have no fucking clue what you just did. But there were a lot of letters and stuff, so good job! Keep it up!
I'm working on a similar thread that will include GM's, but I think most everyone would agree that re-alignment is badly needed. We have people afraid to take GM in the Atlantic due to the caliber of the rest of the division. When 5 or 6 of the top 7 owners in the league are in one conference, you know there are serious issues with balance.
IMO I think it always help to look at realignment at the end of every game and the beginning of a new one it seems ever since I’ve been here that after the summer season some divisions just tend to be a lot stronger than others. No harm in trying and balancing the league out so we can go into nhl 19 with a fresh start.
It doesn't matter, everyone just submits trade requests until they land on the team they want with their buddies anyways.
@Raz-Orr B | B Apparently making playoffs 5/7 seasons rates you as a B for management? With that said, people are overreacting, and it is a lot more balanced then people are harping on about. EDIT: Also, Sean is an S tier manager, fuck off
