FNP PSN Wall of Shame

This past FNP event saw a number of players sign up with either no intention to play or decided they were unhappy with the team that drafted them and Ego'd the Captain and refused to play or simply went awol.

FNP is an event that is supposed to be fun and inclusive. The draft in particular is a roll of the dice, very much like bidding in LGHL, you may not exactly be thrilled with where you end up but you knew that it was a possible outcome when you elected to play and you agreed to a participation policy upon your sign up. If you do not want to play with random people, there are two weeks out of the month when we run club events. You can choose to only sign up for those events. FNP is not fun for anyone when a first round draw ends in a FF because a captain cannot ice a line up. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable and beginning immediately and retroactively to FNP October Week 3 (Season 81) will carry consequences.

Let me preface this with the following: I know that this is going to be unpopular with the people who are going to be called out publically. But if you have no intention to play or you think you might be busy, don't sign up. If you plans change, send a PM to the FNP staff like a number of users did and we can remove you from the draft list without any issue or consequence. If you don't like playing with random people, apply for ownership, take GM somewhere or simply only sign up for club events. You have no one to blame but yourselves.

Thoma wasn’t taken off the list before the draft. He was drafted 15th and we found out after he couldn’t play. Kinda crappy to use our teams first pick on someone who knew he wouldn’t be able to play.

I like the idea of punishing people for being Aids... But why not just allow teams to grab players who went undrafted if some people decide not to show up?... This is done on the Xbox side for FNP all the time. Who wants to ff, and who wants to wait around until the next game because someone ff when it should never happen in the first place?

Doing this won't stop people from simply deciding not to show up because they don't like who they got picked up by.
