Did you realize that in 3 of his 5 rings, he had a lower QBR than his opponent QB but got bailed out by his defence and coach. Oh, he also won Superbowl MVP in all 3 of those Superbowls.

 

I mean its true. when brady tore his ACL and went down in week 1. Matt Cassel led the patriots to a 10-6 record, not a division title but still a winning record and playoff berth. Now look where he's at. Also look at last season or two seasons ago whatever it was. Jimmy Garoppolo and Jacoby Brissett went 3-1 while brady was suspended for deflategate. Put any QB in that system and they can be elite for a season.

 

Also lest we not forget Brian Hoyer's best days as a professional came at the helm of being a NE QB

What is exactly backwards here? All you are doing is wasting time on useless statistics that serve zero purpose and trying to take away the fact that Tom Brady is the best QB of all time. What other QB could take his team in two quarters back from 25 points down in the Superbowl? Thats right... nobody.

 

The argument is that any competent QB could do what Tom has done because of his defense, coach and plain ass luck. Not that he didn't win rings. Rely on stats and not News headlines.

 

QBR, Passer rating, are all useless, right. Not only including TD:INT ratio in the playoffs, average yards per attempt, etc where he doesnt rank in the top 10.

He hasn't had a legit red zone threat receiver since Randy Moss. Whats the excuse for that? He is taking guys like Chris Hogan and Danny Amendola to the Super Bowl lol. Who is his running game? Do you consider James White to be an elite running back? How about Lagarette Blount? Finally what about defense? The last 3 Super Bowl appearances... who has been the powerhouse guy on defense?
