@Lyons x 63 All you put is pointless facts in almost every comment. You wrote the same stat comparsion at least four times. Football players in general are not robots and who cares about what their stats are but if you really want too base everything little thing on stats then Tom Brady has the most wins in the Regular Season and Playoff History. The whole hes a system Qb thing makes no sense too me considering every Qb in the league is in a system. So what im getting is that if Brady wasn't in BB's system then he would suck? Every system is different so maybe it would take some time for a quarterback too learn the system, but its also based on the skill and football IQ of said Qb.

Everyone can have there own opinions and im not trying to stir anything up just putting my own two friendly cents in. lol

No Brady wouldnt suck. He is a product of BB's system, but he's still a smart QB. Not the greatest of all time. Cassel, Jimmy G and Brissett stepped into his system and succeeded because the throws they are asked to make aren't difficult.

Stats are the most important metric we have to value any player in any sport and thats why I use them. The fact his individual stats are subpar and still has that many Reg season / Post season wins illustrates my point.

If I watched a division rival win 5 Superbowls in 18 years while I have struggled to make the playoffs let alone win a playoff game I'd be bitter too.

Matt Cassell? He took over a team that Brady went 16-0 with and was 5 games worse.
Jacoby Brissett was trash for New England. They got shut out by fuckin buffalo under him.
Jimmy G had the same success in NE that he has had in SF, because jimmy G is a good QB but winning games in september is much different then winning games in december and january.

He plays the single most important position in all of sports and there isn't a single position in any other sport that affects the success you have as a team more than a QB. He wins at unprecedented levels for 17 years and its because he is lucky lol.

The patriots teams from 05-06 and 09-13 were GARBAGE talent wise as whole. Without brady those teams don't sniff the playoffs but yet they were winning 12 games a year and almost won a superbowl.

Like I said in my other thread, using these small jacoby brissett and Matt Cassell sample sizes but ignoring the much bigger sample size that BB is an under .500 head coach without brady as his QB kills your entire argument. The most important stat, Wins/Losses, dont lie.

Brady plays the most important position in sports, and he is best of all time to do it. Never had a losing season, 16 division titles, 13 AFC championships, 9 super bowls, 5 are wins (probably going to be 6). Sure I will give you the Seattle one he should have lost. Falcons game you could argue he literally took that game over. Atlanta got conservative and decided to try and run the clock out in the middle of the 3rd quarter and realized fuck here comes Brady and made terrible decisions, so you could argue Brady's presence as a QB forced them to make dumb decisions. Also don't forget he should have two wins from the Giants if it was for that ridiculous catch and the other lost when his defence couldn't get off the field. Every sports talk show this week has been talking Brady vs. MJ, who was better... enough said

im here to set the record straight...as a Patriots fan we dont give a shit about you looking up stats on Wikipedia. Facts are facts... Tom Brady is a 5x super champion 4x MVP. If you knew football, you would know the reason he won those mvp's is because he orchestrated a comeback drive MORE than once in each of those games...

Im guessing the system, coach and everyone else made the patriots come back from 28-3 against the falcons....
