Rule Issue regarding East vs West

Fake news. Don't believe everything you hear on the internet. Also the game coach is referring to chuck hosted a game with out East line and it accidentally put the game on west for everyone. Proving Brodie's theory on how connection works in this game is broken. Chuck has no settings changed on his router hesh just west.

 

Have a game where location doesn’t matter.

 

And the guy who pulled West by himself, and is around the corner from the server was not NickyP. It just pulled West, when most of the lobby was East or Central

 

Just fucking go with whatever the game chooses first. Im so far east that im gonna get over 100ms on west right now, im still not gonna back out just to get east if im home. id rather just play and not waste more of my life on this shit. the game is SUPPOSED to pick the connection that works best for all parties. while i know it doesnt work well id rather get the wrong connection then waste 30 minutes

 

Ok regardless it wasn’t a shot or anything I’m simply saying what I heard. But what I said is probably the only way it would work without being complicated

 

Boths teams choosing Any on EVERY game, and letting the game decide the best connection for all 12 members in the lobby is the easiest and simple way. Shit East loses to a better west connection and Shit west loses to a better east connection.

 

Should mean nothing during reg-season. First time matching should be the start of the game. Playoffs I get the home-ice "advantage" argument. People just sit 5 wide on the blue line anyways regardless of host so I mean, ya gotta live with it

 

I don’t really care what happens. I just want a rule implemented to prevent/solve all this bullshit

 

This isn't called the east coast hockey league we don't need to cater to east connections. In the Central I've never had great connection, be it east or west hosted. Just deal with it, the real world isn't rainbows and lollipops and at the end of the day everyone ends up playing games where their guy feels crappy, regardless of who ends up hosting.

 

This whole Home team should have advantage is crazy, we are talking about a virtual hockey league, and I am trying to work with people who want Option 2, but the more I think about it, the more I just don't see why people can't just play a game. For every loss you have on an opposite server, I am sure you are getting another win from someone else on the opposite server, so it evens out.

 

Also putting Any will probably help with availability. With the way the connection bs is right now, if you give Home Team connection advantage, how many guys will only sign up for Home games now?

 

People will always only sign up for home games especially the wests

That’s fine. But I’m sure a lot of people didn’t get to experience the backing out for 5 times until the desired connection was given. Everybody has their opinion, but nothing sucked more than just disconnecting and reconnecting over and over

 

The game goes with who search 1st got the connection advantage so these sweaty ass nerds that are away gonna sit in dr 30 min before the game and they gonna search waiting for the team to play on 82ms so no.
HOME ADVANTAGE

 

Personally I think the games should just start ASAP.

I keep seeing people say that this wasn't an issue on old gen. It was. We accused people of having "McDonald's wifi". The only reason why it's a thing now is because EA stupidly gave us the option to view our connection and then some people started to put two and two together regarding west lines.

The simplest solution is just to stop being big fucking babies about it. Play the game. Adapt your in game play style to suit the connection you're on. Sometimes it's great. Sometimes it sucks. Stop whining. Play the fucking game we all love but pretend to hate and at the very least are completely addicted to because you're all here wasting your lives just like me.

 

Why do we even play games? We should just see who gets the connection and determine the winner then and there. Obviously the only clear solution.

 

How about EA allows us to choose which server we want to play on before we matchup. These are private matches, I don't think it would be unreasonable to set a parameter of "East / Central / West" where we choose home / away. And then have it displayed once matchedup.

 

New tuner has been brutal man the connection has been terrible ever since released

 

Didn't everybody get to see who had the best connection while in the lobby so teams just chose whoever was on top with the best connection for everybody to host?
