ESHL for PSN

Everyone who wants to play ESHL(and is good enough) just buys an XBox and plays it over there. If NHL 19 had been as good as everyone thought then it'd be a slight possibility but still highly unlikely. Competitive gaming in general is dying out to Battle royales anyways.

 

Even 10 teams putting up $200 could be $1500 to 1st Place and $500 to 2nd...

Trust me no one on PSN is putting in that much, it's nice to think about but it wont happen

 

Good example as to why look at the clubs you play against on PSN when you are searching each night

 

I know there is only a few clubs that are "Elite" on PSN, and thats because most guys are probably heading over to Xbox every night after LG or on non-LG nights

Last time there was an attempt at eshl on psn it was around holiday time, LG playoffs, and schools finals time.

 

Club on PSN won't work because everyone has the same mentality that "ESHL on PSN just won't work and that's that".

Only way to know if it'll work or not is to give it a try. Make a team signup thread, see how many teams would sign up, and go from there. Implement the same rule that goes on in the Space E-Sports event that if teams ff 20% of their games then they get capital banned or whatever the punishment is.

TL;DR: Doesn't hurt to give it a try.

Its just seems crazy to me that if we have the bigger community and the game plays better on PS4 why Xbox would be the only system thriving and doing sponsored tournaments

 

Yea but I feel the PSN community really got bigger in terms of club and the last time we tried it, it was ages ago.

Just saying there's no harm in trying to run it again and seeing if the interest gained or not.

I wouldnt be opposed to it at all, I just dont think they'd try running it for a while with how much its failed everytime theyve tried

I just looked and every time they have tried it, it has been a $50 buy-in. And I do agree that teams who are not full of LGHL guys will see it as a waste of money. So how do we fix that? Or can we?
