S32 Calder Memorial Trophy Finalists

They were both nominated as they had great seasons. However, neither had better seasons than any of the finalists record or statistics wise or even how much they meant to their teams, both were also traded

As someone who knows what it takes to be the best of the best, I would like to congratulate all of the nominees who are up for this season’s Calder Trophy. May the best win!

@P0RT0V went 13-4 for you guys and was there before the deadline. Got there in week 4 and had a hell of a 2nd half of the season essentially. Should he be a finalist for having a great 6 weeks over the guys who were finalists?

@Best in Ottawa Got there at the deadline and went 6-2-1 after going 8-6-3 before that. Same thing applies.

They were nominated bc they had great seasons. If you think they should be finalists, who do you think it should be over? All finalists had better numbers, more wins and statistics and none were traded on their rookie contracts, which are extremely valuable. Also the others were consistent the entire season. We’re always open to discussion and arguments so feel free to provide some stuff to back your claims, we’re all ears.

 

@Chyeeet was nominated but not chosen as a finalist. He received a number of votes but got beat out by the other nominees. Dream and believe we’re the clear 1/2 Dmen and one of the fwds ended up just beating Chyeet out for the final spot.
