Tutorial - Check if your controller is functioning properly

This is assuming you have Windows.

Step 1: Plug USB into Controller that you wish to test and USB into your PC.

Step 2: Open up Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers.

Step 3: Right Click on the Wireless Controller which should be appearing under devices and select "game controller settings".

Step 4: Select Properties and it brings up a menu where you can test your controllers input. Good for testing if say you feel your left or right stick aren't working well you can test to see if its detecting the full range of motion.

I reccommend this, I tried it a couple months ago and found out that my left analong stick had crazy dead zone. Made a switch and felt alot better.

Does this work with checking your speed burst? One of my controllers I can't spring with in call of duty so i stopped using it.

it works with checking all of the inputs on your controller. So whatever button does that speed burst in cod you can test it.

Considering my controllers are usually broken into pieces I don't think this will help me

 

I'll just use my good controller

 

Would also like to know, can’t seem to find anything on it
