Media So they want the media

Hello LG friends, I get it. Media is wanted and needed. I get asked daily by a different guy week in and week out and have since last season when I took my break. You need something to watch or read while you take your shit. Pooping can get pedestrian so you need to properly past the time while your pushing out a rusty torpedo. Message received.

So now what do I do? Do I continue with what I feel was the very successful but incredibly work intensive "Quick Wrap"? Do I drop my work load like you all drop the deuce and go solo resurrecting the classic "Exposed!" but with a sharper edge? Or do I take the easy way and start pecking away at the keyboard each week producing an amusing article? Maybe continued retirement? Decisions, decisions.

Truth is the time off last season was liberating and quite cleansing. I spent hours less in the shout box everyday. As you can all imagine being in the pit daily grinding it out is mentally fatiguing. So many fuckin' idiots in there. If you don't know what I'm talking about or can't think of one.... Your probably one of the fuckin' idiots I'm speaking of. Constantly trying to improve and entertain by being fresh and funny is exhausting. Hilarious is a muscle you gotta work that shit or you end up much like @Dunks dominoes pizza guy. You just don't deliver.

This season is incredibly exciting for me. I was bid on by a legit contender in Hershey with legit top players like @KrawcH x and @xl NiTeOwL lx at the helm. I quite frankly could likely not be in a much better situation. I should want to get on camera and start just boasting and bragging about the new success I'm no doubt about to have and ride the wave but yet I feel like reserved is the play here. So what the fuck is wrong with me? Why can't I "get up" to media? I have the audience that for the most part likes my shit. I'm truly the only game in town so competition is no object. My set up is certainly not "Ninjaesque" but it's miles from where I started recording on a 8 year old Macbook pro sitting on a tv tray table in my living room with an embedded mic. In the last year I poured nearly $800 into new gear and another $100 building a custom media area for myself. This should be an incentive to do it but it simply is not.

I think I'm done.

I think I just need to not think about it until I know I'm ready. I truly do appreciate all you guys saying positive things and encouraging me to do it. You are all the real reason I did it as long as I did. I absolutely loved entertaining and providing for LG and it's members.

It's been good. But I'm tired boss.

The content you produced with us at Overdrive and your other projects with Exposed and Quick Wraps were tremendous and a huge boon to the site. You are an interesting personality with an unique point of view that allowed for different material than what was presented in the past. Studying/working in the media field, I know the grind of trying to produce things for an audience and it truly is tiring. I wish you nothing but the best on your season and hiatus in media and I am looking forward to seeing you back when you feel the time is right, if you ever decide to do so. I know that we have had our differences but I can appreciate good media when I see it.

I understand what you mean...im trying to help give of some media for the community as it seems to have been a big thing for the league in the past. Hopefully one day you will come back and if not...Happy retirement!
