DP's should be kept imo, management has traded players for picks and it kinda ruins it for them and DP's arent usually that impactful.

at the very least allow management to select 3 or 5 DP's for protection and the rest get wiped

 

No a roster reset is a clear reset of EVERYTHING, so there are no advantages and disadvantages to all the owners chosen.

All teams are open and all owners current and future have to apply to get a team.


The only issue is The draft for that season. Do you have a draft or put them all in bidding. You could just give every team all their DPs back 1-31 4 rounds before bidding and have a draft or scrap the draft and change all those propsects to be amateurs and available for bidding but Tris would have to run a script which takes a little bit of effort on his end.

 

putting the draft eligible players in bidding would probably be better, it would add alot more options for owners during bidding, highly doubt the talent pool will be as bad as it has been the last 2 season's, this would be a solid way to overload bidding with nhl talent.

So we do this vote every year, and I'm pretty shocked at the results so far. Pretty much a landslide.

I think I'd seriously consider doing management again if this happens.
