Delusional DanielEPS is at it again! This one of a kind sleaze-bag has gone through extraordinary lengths to try and get an innocent individiual banned for "harrassment". According to the failing LG staff, harrassment is defined as "If somebody feels harrassed, that IS harrassment." Sounds like a lot of hoopla to me, but what do you expect from a Democrat controlled gaming website?

This whole situation reminds me of good ol' Jerkoff Jonlol! This other kind of sleaze-bag filed a complaint in the action centre against me begging (literally on his virtual knees) for a capital ban. What was I doing that was so bad? I simply typed #DrainTheSwamp in the chatbox (referring to his failing Gamechanger campaign). Jerkoff Jonlol couldn't get over the fact he literally fell off the virtual gaming planet, while your favorite virtual goaltender of all time (me) burgeoned himself to greatness.

There are several things to "take home" from this :

1.) It's the internet.
2.) It's a gaming community.

I cant believe I'm actually going to agree with icall on this one to an extent. Especially given the fact that I just dealt with him and Stam about a resolved issue that doesn't need to be brought up anymore now for about the past week and a half that went beyond normal chirping. But issue is done and over with.

Icall is making a very good point though in that this situation you've described doesn't really seem like something that is affecting mental health. This is a public forum on this site and theres a rating system to where people can rate posts however they want. Now is going through and marking 80+ posts dumb excessive? Absolutely but I have to say if having posts marked dumb makes that big of an impact on your mental health then I think there is definitely something else there that is underlying the entire scenario. While it may be against LGs CoC, which the BOGs have every right to determine if it is or isn't and make a ruling/punishment for that, it just seems like there are way bigger fish to fry in this league then that.

I mean I've sought therapy for the past 5 years or so to help me with my own mental health issues and one thing I've learned in that time is that you control your own thoughts and emotions. In a perfect world there would be the LG version of Batman gliding from post to post cleaning up shit and making sure people don't say things but we don't have that nor will we ever have that because I'm willing to bet that the majority of forum posts/comments are complete troll posts used to chirp other people. People need to keep in mind that LG is a free league, where BOGs, managers, and players all give up free time to come here and make this league work. When it comes down to it if certain things are going to trigger and set you off or other people off then maybe it just isn't the best use of time.

This league and this game's culture is one of toxicity that I just don't ever see changing. It may get better from time to time but ultimately there is always going to be some sort of toxic culture surrounding NHL and LG because its a competitive league and competition brings out both the best and worst in people. Throw in the factor that everyone can hide behind a keyboard, PSN or Xbox account only amplifies that. There's not enough time in the day and BOGs around to police every little thing. Even if they did it raises the question of would there even still be a league? Or would LG be like any other dime a dozen NHL league out there that come and go before people even know that it was a league.

With all that said though, people in this league need to remember that they don't necessarily know what that person on the other side of any chirp or anything like that is going through at that time. You never know what could be a breaking point for someone that could lead to serious situations for people. I guarantee on this site right now there are people struggling with addictions, mental illnesses, physical illnesses, life crises, and a whole other variety of things. There have been times when this league has banded together to help people through those situations but there have also been situations where I'm sure the league has worsened situations as well. We as people only give power to to what other people say when we let them affect how we see ourselves but there is always still a line of just being a decent human being that sometimes gets forgotten in LG.
