With the playoff starting up we've decided to post our prediction for the upcoming round 1 of the ESHL. All series are bo7 and will be played next wednesday and thursday. This is our points of view not yours and you're more than welcome to create your own. Olympus (16) vs Resilience (1) The first place team finishing 14 points ahead of the 2nd seed team is looking to keep their dominance going into the playoffs and will be facing one of the teams that were expected to be finishing way higher than they did. Resilience having the least goals against in this entire league will definitely be looking to keep locking every opponent they face and it will be interesting to see how they do against Olympus. Olympus being an high volume team and really good controlling the puck won't make it easy on them and we're hyped to see how things turns out. X Factor: Defense Dogs Prediction Gabseh: Resilience in 5 Thibodd: Resilience in 5 Karmuh: Resilience in 6 Hdc: Resilience in 6 Mxtayer: Resilience in 6 Charyzen: Resilience in 4 Hidden Potential (15) vs (2) The back to back champs are back at it and looking to bring the championship once again for a 3rd season in a row and will be facing an high fast pasted team as Hidden Potential. Finishing as strong as they could with an almost perfect week facing good teams they will 100% be going into playoffs with confidence. This will be a great series to watch being filled with small body builds looking to buzz all around the ice. X Factor: Chemistry between Shockz, Blur and Ct Dogs Prediction Gabseh: Hp in 6 Thibodd: Hp in 6 Karmuh: Hp in 7 Hdc: Hp in 7 Mxtayer: Hp in 6 Charyzen: Hp in 6 Lost n Found (14) vs Simple Hockey (3) The simplest team in this series will be looking to start their playoff run strong facing the veteran's crew who has already proven their talent. This will be an entire series ending with a low score difference due to their playstyle. Be ready for the biggest wall at both blue lines every single game. It will definitely be a good series and could go either way. X Factor: NeNe Dogs Prediction Gabseh: LnF in 6 Thibodd: SxH in 6 Karmuh: LnF in 7 Hdc: SxH in 6 Mxtayer: LnF in 7 Charyzen: SxH in 6 Red Lights District (13) vs The Underdogs (4) The two best offensive teams in the league facing each other in the first round will 100% make it an interesting one offensively. Two fast paced team facing each other who scores a lot but both have many goals against. Defense will win this series and it will be a game changer on who can play defense better. No prediction to respect the other team. Phantoms (12) vs Composure (5) The best puck control team with Od and Mark will be looking to help their team out defensively and offensively to beat this new elite born team as Phantoms. Both games they played each other were complete blowouts: 6-0 5-0. We could expect this being the highest goal differential of the entire 1rst round taking into account their last games against. Don't sleep on those Phantoms as they already proved being able to compete against everyone. They definitely proved what they can do as one of the best duo in the game (Gwan and ScaryJoeyy) will want to carry their way threw the finals once again. Heroes will 100% be in need to play perfect hockey to get threw their opponent but these frenchies can pull it depending on their gameplay. X Factor: ScaryJoeyy and Gwan duo Dogs Prediction Gabseh: Leg in 5 Thibodd: Leg in 6 Karmuh: Leg in 5 Hdc: Leg in 5 Mxtayer: Leg in 7 Charyzen: Leg in 6 Most Wanted (10) vs Entourage (7) The winner of the 1rst nhl 20 tournament at the beginning of the year will, first of, need to get their starting 6 on for the playoffs because they aren't facing an easy team. This will be a great series that could go either way depending on who can find the opponents flaws 1rst and exploit it. This will be fun to see how Most Wanted will do against a top team who already proven they can score many goals if you don't play well defensively. X Factor: Speed, Offensive Pressure Dogs Prediction Gabseh: ENT in 6 Thibodd: ENT in 5 Karmuh: ENT in 6 Hdc: ENT in 7 Mxtayer: ENT in 7 Charyzen: ENT in 6 Prophecy (9) vs Sold Out (8) Probably one of the best first round matchup since we can't really agree on who will be the winner of this series. Both team finished the season with the same amount of points (128) and there's nothing really else to say except expect this to be a long series with a lot of close games.
