Hi, With the holidays coming up in December, I've been thinking a lot about what I've been grateful for this year, and my own personal growth as a person. For the many and I mean MANY of you that don't know the type of person I am, I'm a very heart on my sleeve kinda guy. Christmas has always been a very important holiday in my family, especially when I was younger. I come from a Portuguese and Spanish household so my family gatherings especially Christmas were always large events. Over the years, things change and even though my family gets smaller and smaller I still value what I was taught, and that's its better to give a gift over receiving one. This year I'm trying to install that a bit back in my life, and I'm raising money for "The Children's Aid Society of Ottawa" Luckily with how GoFundMe works the money is donated straight to the charity so there's no worry of anything shady happening. The goal is currently $2000, which should help close to 4 families. I'll be donating hopefully $1000 of my own money in the next few days, anyone brave enough to match it? I should add that please do not feel like you have to donate if its not possible, just spreading the word would mean a lot to me. https://www.casott.on.ca/en/volunteer/2019-holiday-gift-program/ https://www.gofundme.com/f/q46nz-everyone-deserves-a-good-christmas
