How is line tampering fun ?

That's my question, how can some management players be allowed to ask other teams what lines are being played in that game before it even hits the site, is it okay for this to happen? Why are all these so called first lines allowed to play 90% of the 3rd lines? And for 3rd liners to be called shit when all they do is always have to face top guys ( scrub hunting top guys), people sign up to have fun and play not to always get their asses kick all the time. To be that suicide line, you know take one for the team line (Multiples). I get guys want to have good stats but come on asking other teams if its a third line so they can get more points and a free win thats not even really earned is pathetic. some of these top teams with guys that go with 1 or 4 losses on the season lose multiple first rounds in playoffs, does that not say something? Are even when the chat is call ur line a "scrub hunting line" does that not set into bogs head to check this I really think that Bogs should monitor this so that people can have equal fun in this league. What real life nhl player only.gets 4 losses a season

And a side note its fun playing everyone with differnt skill levels, but to play 90% of the same skill level how is that fun ?

i mean there are a few teams like that for sure but most of the teams ive seen are actually good for this. There are smart owners and not so smart owners, every seasons different you cant win everyone and honestly you lose credibility when you quit LG. Better to take the bad seasons as they come and just deal with them, instead of ranting about them and creating a bad name for yourself.

 

I guess when I trade a player, they get mad, and quit. But then Gibby sends me messages saying "I Love You", but yeah the moral story of this created thread is that Gibby is salty for being traded and doesn't like how I schedule lines (even though they are by availability). I like my team now. Thanks for being a cancer, the community really needs more of them i guess.

There’s nothing illegal about poking around and trying to find out who is playing your team. That’s why I don’t like having big mouths.

What is illegal, and often happens, are teams saying “hey let’s do line 3 vs line 3”, which is collusion, but it’s not a big deal.

 

It’s a legit LG strategy, if you can guarantee a line to get 20+ wins and not break any rules why not do it?

Is it fun? No. And maybe Fisher is partially at fault if he isn’t communicating to his third line what their roles are, but at the end of the day, if teams don’t like it, then they should teach their third lines to embrace this awful game, and muck it up, and make it ugly, to make it a close game against these first lines.





if you’re worried about playing best vs best. That’s what the playoffs and ESHL is for. Nobody calls the Penguins or Crosby a pussy if they get a 1 v 4 line matchup off an icing and they score, it’s smart coaching.

 

This. You can either try playing your best players vs the best teams or you can decide to go for more guaranteed wins and have your best players play easier teams (or more likely the case just go off availability). Neither are wrong, it’s just a decision the managers make.

I get what you are saying, i been on everyline, im stating that the game should be played like real hockey, show your skills in playoffs dont snoop around and ask whos playing its a fucking virtual league, and if youre a top top line you can play everyone not just 90% of 3rds lol.
