Media MEDIA ! TOP 5s (sorta mid season)

Hello again fellow nerds, Clutchy and Barks are back so soon and I know we just made a top 10 teams but I figured I would give you guys a top 5s anyways. Again these all just our OPINIONS so if you're not on here or don't like what you see...I don't care. ENJOY!

TOP 5 AT EACH POSITION

LEFT WINGS

1. @TertleToes 19-2-0 56 Points 39 goals 17 assists +36 0 PIMS -244 TA/GA
Great dude and an absolute animal on the sticks. Might not have the points like others on this list but the guy rarely loses and puts any right defenseman in a spin cycle on his way to the net. He will continue to play a huge part in the Tigers success this season.

2. @XenoSZN 16-1-4 66 Points 48 goals 18 assists +31 6 PIMS -319 TA/GA
An unknown name by a lot of people but he's definitely making a name for himself this season. Xeno looks to be a pure goal scorer with a league high 48 goals thus far which is insane. This guy will have to continue what he's been doing if the Baby Devils want a long playoff run.

3. @eh shots 17-1-0 67 Points 39 goals 28 assists +44 18 PIMS -246 TA/GA
Another player I really don't know a lot about but wow, only 1 lose thus far on the AHLs top team. Just shy of 40 goals, I'm sure he will get close to 50 which is crazy. He just one of the many top players on this Admirals team.

4. @Black Paperclip 15-4-2 71 Points 39 goals 32 assists +27 12 PIMS -226 TA/GA
Ive always known that Paperclip was a solid player but he's way over performed my expectations this season for sure. Playing along side of @kdevv the chemistry is real. This line along with Tsunamis line will making the Moose dangerous come layoffs.

5. @CH1l1X 16-4-1 63 Points 38 goals 25 assists +29 14 PIMS -182 TA/GA
Just one of the many weapons at forward on this Eagles team. Coming off his amazing "Rookie of the Year" season he's continued his high success and will need that for a long playoff run for these Eagles.


CENTERS

1. @skyre5 14-4-2 75 Points 29 goals 46 assists +45 2 PIMS -164 TA/GA 60.1 FO%
In my opinion there's no question this guy is the top center in the league if not the top overall player. Sooner or later he will go back to the NHL where he belongs but until then he will continue to dominate at this level. But will it be enough for the Rampage to make a long playoff run?

2. @Goostaav 15-4-2 63 Points 24 goals 39 assists +47 14 PIMS -316 TA/GA 53.1 FO%
An absolute stud at the center position with great wigs and player awareness. Always looking for the man cutting if not just going to the net himself. Goos has been and always will be a huge part of his teams winning.

3. @QcKT Tsunami 14-4-3 77 Points 41 goals 36 assists +28 24 PIMS -290 TA/GA 51.6 FO%
Playing center and left wing this season I figured this was the stop for him. A bit of a rough patch right now with different lines but I'm sure Tsunami will get it working again very soon and start putting up those great numbers again in time for playoffs.

4. @vinnyboydc5 17-4-0 74 Points 32 goals 42 assists +40 2 PIMS -177 TA/GA 56.2 FO%
This kid seems to live for it as I always seem to see him playing 6s or trying to gather lol. The work has paid off though that's for sure. Transferring from defense to forward this season he has made it look very easy with these wins and numbers. Love this frenchy.

5. @Val The Rat 16-4-1 68 Points 25 goals 43 assists +43 6 PIMS -116 TA/GA 57 FO%
This guys first season in the AHL and he's making it look fairly easy. Another great forward on this Admirals team. A very safe center with high faceoff percentage and a low ga/ta. Seems to playing the position how it should be.


RIGHT WINGS

1. @meka DVA meka 15-5-0 74 Points 37 goals 37 assists +25 12 PIMS -349 TA/GA
Meka is doing everything he can to put this team on his back. A middle of the pack team but yet this guy has over 70points and +15wins. Coming down from the NHL this season it shows that he should probably still be up there lol.

2. @SouPerSaiyan 14-4-2 70 Points 35 goals 35 assists +43 21 PIMS -302 TA/GA
Playing along side Sky this is one of if not the best duo in the league. Not sure why its fun for him to continue to put up 100+ point seasons in the AHL and not go back up but I wish I could put up half that many! Great player, his stats over the past few seasons are just gross.

3. @IsC0NaLd0 17-4-0 65 Points 35 goals 30 assists +38 16 PIMS -116 TA/GA
Ahhhhh, just another Colorado forward to talk about and another frenchy with great thumbs. Conaldo having another huge season under dunks. Not positive but I'm pretty sure Conaldo plays with Vinny and they have been a force to deal with. Love my frenchies.

4. @DANGLES0N 14-7-0 66 Points 45 goals 21 assists +13 10 PIMS -364 TA/GA
One of the more surprising guys on the lists but he cant be left off with over 40 goals. Like damn. Mans is putting on his backpack for the Bruins and is looking nearly unstoppable thus far. But is his back strong enough for the Bruins to be a true contender?

5. @NewMapleLeafs 13-5-3 69 Points 29 goals 40 assists +28 41 PIMS -280 TA/GA
Coming back to his right wing position after taking some time to play goalie, it doesn't seem like this guy has missed a beat. Going back to his true position he's doing everything he can to make the Rampage more then just a one line team.


LEFT DEFENSEMEN

1. @Xx LoL xX 9 13-7-1 43 Points 18 goals 25 assists Even +/- 14 PIMS -345 TA/GA
No brainer the best defenseman in the AHL. Since getting traded to the Americans he's 6-0-0 with 13 points 9 goals 4 assists. Imagine if he was on a good team all season, his stats would be much better I'd have to believe. Frank can single handedly win you a game.

2. @JC Enterprise 18-3-0 38 Points 7 goals 31 assists +46 14 PIMS -117
Like I said in my top 10 teams post this kid is having himself another crazy season. After building a top team that just wasn't enough. He looks to make a deep playoff run this season. Defenseman beware...this man loves his "Omaha" slap shot play.

3. @FrenchMoron 17-2-1 24 Points 7 goals 17 assists +52 24 PIMS -205 TA/GA
One of the leagues best two way defenseman. Playing behind his teams top line makes it one of the most dangerous lines in the AHL. A very smart dman that's always looking for the cuts or 1Ts. His gamertag isn't about his game play that's for sure.

4. @BUFFALO STAR 23 14-1-2 23 Points 1 goal 22 assists +34 14 PIMS -68 TA/GA
Only 1 regulation loss as a defenseman, that's more than impressive. These Baby Devils seems like the real deal and he is one of the big reasons they are. Buffalo is quickly making a name for himself at this level.

5. @MaKi x18 19-2-0 13 Points 2 goals 11 assists +33 8 PIMS -47 TA/GA
Looking like a purely defensive player for this top line from the Tigers. With only 2 loses all season he seems to be doing everything right for these guys. Not great offensive numbers by any means but he doesn't need them playing behind Tertle.


RIGHT DEFENSEMEN

1. @FerranteCesare2 17-2-0 24 Points 5 goals 19 assists +25 2 PIMS -111 TA/GA
The right defenseman that plays with Maki behind the Tigers top line. This dpair is doing everything right to keep this Bridgeport team scary. Another guy that seems to be a more defensive dman but sticks his nose in there when he gets the chance.

2. @Dime a Dozen 15-6-0 27 Points 4 goals 23 assists +27 16 PIMS -29 TA/GA
With an amazing ga/ta this guy just doesn't turn the puck over and that's what every forwards wants to play with. Also leading right defensemen in points just makes him an obvious player to put in this spot. After being traded to the Monsters he continues to put up good numbers.

3. @bigdiskk 16-3-2 23 Points 1 goal 22 assists +28 14 PIMS -106 TA/GA
Seems to be the top right defenseman on the Eagles this season stat wise. Playing behind those great forwards I'm sure makes it a little easier for him but he seems to be doing all he needs to so far.

4. @Hapscore 13-4-2 20 Points 4 goals 16 assists +39 16 PIMS -84 TA/GA
I don't know much about this guy but his +/- is pretty insane. Playing behind some high powered offensive lines from the Checkers. Not sure if he plays behind drxmas line or goostav but who cares, he's winning and winning big.

5. @Saucerman x3 15-5-1 15 Points 1 goal 14 assists +33 21 PIMS -57 TA/GA
Maybe a bit of a head stretcher but after playing with sauce for a few weeks I can say he's a very smart heads up players (which he has to be playing next to LoL most of the time). Stickily a defensive dman here but as I said his smarts makes him on my top 5.

5. @Geonosis (our dad) 14-5-2 84.3 save% (3rd) 2.14 GAA (4th) 287 shots 13.6 shots/game

Wow thanks for the kind words. I'm just lucky to play with talented players - Tertle, Kiroxy, Manning - what a group, it has skill, positional awareness/IQ, and 180 foot hockey, and of course, I get to play with Maki on D.

Maki taught me more about hockey in the 10 years we've been playing EASHL than any hockey coach I've ever had, Maki is probably the smartest hockey mind I've ever met.
